JUST CONCLUDED!

This morning, a Baccalaureate Mass was solemnly held in honor of the graduating students of Academic Year 2025–2026 as they prepare for their Graduation Rites.

The Eucharistic celebration was officiated by Rev. Fr. Johnson C. Logan, who delivered a meaningful homily encouraging the graduates to remain grateful for every achievement they attain, whether big or small. He reminded them to celebrate each success that comes their way and to reflect on the challenges and sacrifices they have overcome, as these experiences have led them to this significant milestone.

Joining the celebration in support of the graduating students were Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy Jr., University President, and Dr. Romiro G. Bautista, Vice President for Academics, Research, and Extension, together with key University officials, faculty members, and staff. Their presence emphasizes the University's steadfast commitment to guiding students not only toward academic excellence but also toward becoming morally upright individuals.

The Baccalaureate Mass served as a meaningful moment of reflection and thanksgiving, marking a significant milestone in the graduates' academic journey and inspiring them as they embark on the next chapter of their lives beyond the University.

QSU Ranks Top 1 in AACCUP National Recognition!

Quirino State University (QSU) proudly celebrates a remarkable milestone after being recognized as the Top 1 Performing State University with the Highest Number of Level II Accredited Programs for 2025 by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. The prestigious award was conferred during the 39th AACCUP Annual National Conference and General Assembly, held at the Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila on March 24–26, 2026.

This national recognition highlights QSU’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance. The achievement was made possible through the successful Level II accreditation of six (6) programs from the Cabarroguis Campus, conducted on March 24–28, 2025 through the leadership of University President, Dr. Hermenegildo F. Samoy, Jr. and Former Vice President for Academics, Research and Extension, Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig. The award was formally received by OIC-President, Dr. Alfonso R. Simon, together with Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, Dr. Rosalyn L. Delizo, Dr. Annalene Grace E. Co, and Ms. Claudine Fay T. Domingo, on behalf of the University.

Special recognition is likewise extended to Dr. Melidiosa V. Pagudpud, Quality Assurance counterpart of Cabarroguis Campus, Dr. Magdalena Guinumtad, Campus Director for Instruction, and the Program Chairs of the 6 programs, whose leadership and dedication played a vital role in achieving this distinction.

This recognition affirms QSU’s steadfast pursuit of quality education and its commitment to delivering transformative learning experiences aligned with national and global standards.

A Green Milestone for QSU!

In its first year of participation in UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, Quirino State University proudly ranks 1224th globally, 737th in Asia, 71st in the Philippines, and 5th among participating HEIs in Region 2.

This milestone reflects QSU’s commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and building a greener future for the communities we serve.

HAPPENING NOW | The CHED Region 02 Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT), with the Graduate School Technical Panel/Committee, is evaluating the Master of Science in Agriculture Major in Crop Science of Qurino State University today, September 11, 2025.

The faculty of the Master of Science in Agriculture, led by Program Chairperson Dr. Minajoy B. Wigan, actively participated in the activity, along with CHED Regional Office evaluators Engr. Joven B. Jacinto, Education Supervisor II of CHED-RO2 and Dr. Amado O. Cortez, Jr. Dean, College of Agriculture of Isabela State University. Technical panel members include Dr. Rosana P. Mula, Dr. Federico P. Perez, and Dr. Tonette P. Laude also joined online.
This visit also provides us with the opportunity to showcase our strengths, address area of improvement, and affirm our commitment to providing transformative education for our students and stakeholders.

The RQAT plays a vital role in ensuring that graduate programs meet CHED’s standards, safeguarding academic quality and paving the way for the issuance of the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).
