Calling the entire MATS College community, the Studentsโ Day Celebration will take place on March 18, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The event is prepared especially for our students to encourage camaraderie, enjoyment, and active participation through various exciting programs.

This significant activity served as a platform to promote mental health awareness and highlight the importance of resilience in navigating the challenges of an ever-changing world. Through this initiative, MATS College of Technology reaffirms its commitment to empowering students with the tools for holistic growth, cultivating a healthier and more connected campus environment.

PUBLIC ADVISORY | CLASS SUSPENSION
In compliance with the advisory issued by the City Government of Davao and PAGASA placing Davao City under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 due to Tropical Storm Basyang, all classes at all levels are suspended.
Accordingly, our school will have NO CLASSES starting today, February 5, 2026 (8:00 AM), until tomorrow, February 6, 2026.
Everyone is advised to remain cautious and prioritize safety. Further updates will be posted as necessary.

This meaningful initiative was organized by our Community Extension Services Coordinator ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ญ๐๐ฉ๐ก๐๐ง๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐๐จ, facilitated by ๐๐ซ๐ฌ. ๐๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐, and ๐๐ข๐ซ ๐๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง, NSTP Coordinator in collaboration with students, instructors, and RSCC personnels. This activity highlights the spirit of compassion, volunteerism, and collective responsibility in extending love and care to children in need.
The program featured a variety of activities designed to bring joy and warmth to the young beneficiaries, including gift-giving, interactive games, and shared meals that fostered a sense of belonging and celebration. Beyond the festive atmosphere, the outreach also served as an avenue for students to apply the values of service-learning, empathy, and social engagement, while instructors provided guidance and support to ensure the eventโs smooth ex*****on. By bridging academic communities with social institutions, the activity reinforced the importance of holistic educationโone that not only develops intellectual skills but also nurtures civic consciousness and humanitarian values.
The success of this activity reflects the commitment of the Community Extension Services to empower students as agents of change and to strengthen partnerships with government agencies in promoting social welfare, ultimately creating a lasting impact on both the children served and the academic community involved.
