In celebration of Buwan ng Wika during the PASSABADE event at the RSM Events Center, Philippine Women’s College of Davao, the Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (BCAEd) program successfully staged Sidlak Kultura, a live theatrical presentation that served as a masterclass in the authentic representation and preservation of Mindanaoan ethnic heritage. The production demonstrated high artistic and pedagogical integrity by emphasizing the educational significance of traditional attire—ensuring that every textile, weave, and ornament was worn with strict adherence to cultural modesty, proper drapery, and respect for sacred indigenous symbols—while seamlessly translating authentic Mindanaon concepts, spatial rhythms, and movement aesthetics onto the contemporary stage to educate audiences on the region's rich cultural narrative.
