As a security guard, my fundamental duty is to protect lives and properties and maintain peace and order within my place of duty; protect the interest of my employer and our clients and the security and stability of our government ang country without compromise and prejudice, honest in my action, words and thought; and do my best to uphold the principle of MAKADIOS, MAKABAYAN, MAKATAO at MAKAKALIKASAN.

1) To charge of the post and all company properties in view, and protect / preserve the same with utmost diligence;

2) To walk in alert manner during my tour of duty, and observing everything that takes place within in sight or hearing;

( Lumakad ng laging handa at mapagmasid at makinig ng mabuti sa anumang pangyayari sa paligid )

3) To report all violations of regulations and order I am instructed to enforce;

( Gumawa ng report tungkol sa mga katiwalian laban sa mga kautusang itinuturo sa akin na dapat ipapatupad )

4) To relay all calls from posts more distant from the security house where I am stationed;

( Ipaalam lahat ng tawag mula sa malayo kaysa aking security post )

5) To quit my post only when properly relieved;

( Lisanin ang aking kinatatalagahan pagkatapos mahalinhinan ng maayos )

6) To receive, obey and pass on to the relieving guard all orders from company officers or officials, supervisors, post-in-charge or shift leaders;

( Tanggapin, sundin at ipagbigay alam sa aking kahaliling guwardiya ang lahat na utos ng pinuno at opisyales ng kumpanya, superbisor, post-in-charge o shift leader )

7) To talk to no one except in line of duty;

( Huwag makipag-usap kanino man habang nakaduty, maliban lamang paghinggil sa tungkulimd )

8) To sound or call the alarm in case of fire or disorder;
( Magbabala kung may sunog o gulo)

9) To call the superior officer in any case not covered by instructions;

( Ipagbigay-alam sa nakakataas na opisyal kung may anumang bagay na hindi nasasaklaw sa mga tagubilin )

10) To salute all company officials, superiors in the agency, ranking public officials and commissioned officers of the Philippine National Police; and

( Sumaludo sa mga pinuno ng kampanya, ahensya, gobyerno at opisyal ng Philippine National Police )

11) To be especially watchful at night during the time of chalenging, to challenge all persons on or near my post and to allow no one to pass or loiter without proper authority.

( Maging mahigpit na mapagmasid lalo na sa gabi at mga maselang panahon; usisaing mabuti kung sino ang bawat nakapaligid o malapit sa aking nasasakupan; at huwag pahintulutang makaraan ang sinuman ng walang kaukulang pahintulot.

CODE OF ETHICS

1) As a security guard or detective his fundamental duties is to serve the interest or mission of his agency in compliance with the contract entered into with clients or customers of the agency he is supposed to serve;

( Bilang isang guwardiya, ang aking unang tungkulin ay gampanan ang kapakanan ng aking ahensiya at ng kliyente nito upang isakatuparan ang nakasaad sa kontratang napagkasunduan ng mga ito)

2) He shall be honest in thoughts and deeds both in his personal and official actuations, obeying the laws of the land and the regulations prescribed by his agency and those established by the company he is supposed to protect;

( Akoy magiging tapat sa isip at gawa sa aking pansarili o opisyal na kilos , at aking susundin ang mga pambansang batas at mga alituntuning ipinatutupad ng aking ahensiya, gayundin ang sa kumpanyang aking binabantayan )

3) He shall not reveal any confidential information confided to him as security guard such other matters imposed upon him by law;

( Hindi ko ibubunyag ang mga lihim na ipinagkakatiwala sa akin bilang guwardiya, gayundin ang iba pang bagay na ipinapapatupad sa akin ng batas )

4) He shall act at all times with decorum and shall not permit personal feelings, prejudices and undue friendship to influence his actuation while in the performance of his official functions;

(Ako ay kikilos ng maayos sa lahat ng oras at hindi ko hahayaan ang sariling damdamin, maling haka-haka at maling pakikipagkaibigan na makakaimpluwensiya sa aking asal sa pagpatupad ng opisyal na tungkulin )

5) He shall not compromise with criminals and other lawless elements to the prejudice of the customers or clients and shall assist the government in its relentless drive against lawlessness and other forms of criminality;

( Hindi ako makipagkumpurmiso sa mga salarin at iba pang lumalabag sa batas upang mapahamak ang ang kliyente; manapa'y tutulong ako sa pamahalaan sa walang tigil na pagpuksa ng masamang loob at iba pa pang uri ng kriminalidad )

6) He shall carry his assigned duties as required by law to the best of his ability and shall safeguard the life and property of the establishment he is assigned;

( Dapat kong maipatupad ang tungkuling nakaatang sa akin bilang guwardiya ng naaayon sa batas sa abot ng aking makakaya at dapat kong pangalagaan ang buhay at ari-arian ng establisimyento na aking binabantayan )

7) He shall wear his uniform, badge, patches and insignia properly as a symbol of public trust and confidence, as an honest, trustworthy security guard and private detectives.

( Gagamitin ko ang aking uniporme, tsapa at insignia ng maayos sapagkat ito'y nagsasagisag ng pagtitiwala ng madla sa akin bilang tapat ma guwardiya )

8) He shall keep his allegiance first to the government, then to the agency where he is employed and to the establishent he is assigned to serve with loyalty and utmost dedication;

( Dapat akong manatiling matapat sa pamahalaan, sa ahensiyang aking kinabibilangan, at sa establisimyentong aking pinangangalagaan ng boung katapatan at kasipagan )

9) He shall diligently and progressively familiarize himself with the rules and regulations laid down by his agency and those of the customers and clients;

( Ako'y magiging matiyaga at pag-iibayuhin ang sariling kaalaman tungkol sa mga alituntunin na pinaiiral ng aking ahensiya gayundin ng mga kliyente nito )

10) He shall at all times be courteous, respectful and salute his superior officers government officials and official of the establishment where he is assigned or the company he is supposed to serve;

( Ako'y magiging magalang sa lahat na oras at sasaludo sa aking mga pinuno, gayundin sa opisyales ng pamahalaan at ng establisimyentong aking gwinaguwardiyahan o ang kumpanyang aking pinaglilingkuran )

11) He shall report for duty always in proper uniniform and neat in appearance; and

( Ako ay papasok sa aking tungkulin ng laging maayos ang uniporme at malinis ang hitsura )

12) He shall learn at heart and strictly observe the rules and regulations governing the use of fi****ms.

( Pag-aralan ko, isapuso o memoryahin at mahigpit ipatutupad ang mga batas at alintutunin tungkol sa tamang paggamit ng baril )

1) He shall carry with him at all times during his tour of duty his license, identification card and duty detail order with an authority to carry fi****ms;

( Sa lahat ng sandali na naka-duty, dapat dapat dala ko lagi ang aking lisensiya, ID at permit na magdala ng baril or sandatang pumuputok)

2) He shall not use his license and other privileges if any, to the prejudice of the public, the client or customers and his agency;

( Hindi ko dapat gamitin ang aking lisensiya o anumang karapatan sa ikakapahamak ng madla, ng kliyente at ng aking ahensiya )

3) He shall not engage in any unnecessary conversation with anybody except in the discharge of his duties or sit down unless required by the nature of his work and shall at times keep himself alert during his tour of duty;

( Hindi ko dapat sasali sa di-importanteng usapan kahit kanino, maliban lang kung kinakailangan sa aking tungkulin. Hindi rin ako dapat maupo, maliban lang kung kinakailangang maupo upang magampanan ang aking tungkulin. Dapat akong alerto sa lahat ng sandali ng aking duty )

4) He shall refrain from reading newspapers, magazines, books, etc. while actually performing his duties;

( Hindi ako dapat magbasa ng diyaryo, magasin, libro o anumang babasahin habang ako ay naka-duty )

5) He shall not drink any intoxicating immediately before and during his tour of duty;

( Bago magsimulang mag-duty o habang nakaduty, hindi ako dapat uminom ng alak o inuming nakakalasing )

6) He shall know the location of the alarm box near his post and sound the alarm in case of fire or disorder;

( Dapat alam ko ang kinalalagyan ng fire alarm box na malapit sa aking puwesto, at gamitin ito sa pagbigay-babala sa oras ng sunog o anumang kaguluhan )

7) He shall know how to operate any fire extinguisher at his post;

( Dapat alamin ko kung paano ang paggamit ang pamatay sunog ( fire extinguisher ) na nasa aking puwesto )

8) He shall know the location of the telephone and/or telephone number of the police precincts, as well as the telephone numbers of the fire stations in the locality;

( Dapat alam ko ang kinalalagyan ng telepono, gayundin ang mga numero ng presinto ng pulis at istasyon ng bumbero sa aking lugar )

9) He shall immediately notify the police in case of any sign of disorder, strike, riot or any serious violation of the law;

( Dapat kong ipagbigay-alam agad sa pulisya ang anumang sinyales or pahiwatig ng kaguluhan, strike, riot o malubhang paglabag ng batas )

10) He or his group of guards, shall not participate or integrate any disorder, strike, riot or any serious violation of the law;

( Ako, gayundin ang iba pang mga guwardiya, ay hindi dapat sumali o makisalamuha sa anumang gulo, strike, riot o malubhang paglabag sa batas )

11) He shall assist the police in the preservation and maintenance of peace and order and in the protection of life and property having in mind the nature of his responsibilities is similar to that of the latter;

( Dapat akong tumulong sa pulis sa pananatili ng katahimikan at kaayusan; ang pangalagaan ang buhay at ari-arian; dapat kong laging isaisip na ang pulis at guwardiya ay pareho ang responsibilidad )

12) He shall familiarize himself by heart with the Private Security Agency Law ( RA 5487, as ammended ) and its implementing rules and regulations;

( Dapat kabisado ko ang batas na Private Security Agency law ( RA 5487, as ammended ) , gayundin ang mga kaukulang patakaran nito )

13) When issund firearm, he should lend his firearm to anybody;
( Hindi ko dapat ipahiram kahit kanino ang aking baril o sandatang pumuputok )

14) He shall always be in proper uniform and shall always carry with him his basic requirements, and equipments such as writing notebook, ballpen, nightstick/ baton and/ or radio; and

( Sa aking tungkulin, dapat lagi ako nakasuot ng tamang uniporme at dala-dala ko ang mga kailangan ng guwardiya tulad ng kuwaderno, panulat, baton at radio )

15) He shall endeavor at all times, to merit and be worthy of the trust and confidence of the agency he represents or the client he serves;

( Sa lahat ng oras ay pangalagaan ko ang halaga at tiwala na ibinibigay ng ahensiya at ng kliyente na aking binabantayan )
