𝐎𝐧-𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

The City Government is working closely with the DepEd Davao City Division and CHED Region XI on the ongoing structural assessment of educational facilities.

Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private educational institutions MAY likewise resume tomorrow, June 10, 2026, PROVIDED that their respective institutions have completed the necessary structural assessments and have been declared safe for occupancy by the appropriate authorities.

Educational institutions that have not yet completed their assessments or have not yet been cleared for occupancy shall continue to adopt online or distance learning modalities until such time that their facilities are declared safe.

DepEd and CHED Region XI, together with their respective educational institutions, shall inform learners, parents, and personnel regarding the resumption schedule of face-to-face classes.

The City remains under BLUE ALERT status. All BDRRMCs, volunteer groups, and partner agencies are hereby advised to remain on standby, pre-position the necessary equipment and supplies, and submit situational reports to the Operations Center for consolidated monitoring and coordinated action.

Any changes or update shall be announced accordingly.

‎Representing the Davao Eagles, Turba put on a striking masterclass in the finals, completely dismantling her opponent from Region VI, Stephanie R. Cipriano, with a commanding 48-27 victory to secure the gold medal in the Pencak Silat Tanding Girls category, Class E, at the Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan del sur today, Friday, May 29.

‎Turba’s tactical precision and relentless offense left no room for doubt, proving she is the undisputed queen of her division and delivering a spectacular golden finish for Region XI.

‎Dala ang bandera ng DAVRAA, mabagsik na pinabagsak nito si Mary Chantal Rain D. Jizmundo na mula sa Rehiyon VI, sa iskor na 28-8, upang tuluyang maging kampeon sa Pencak Silat Tanding Category, Class C, sa Palarong Pambansa 2026, na ginanap sa Agusan Del Sur, Mayo 29.

‎Crossing Bayabas National High School (CBNHS) ace RJ Abanil concluded his stellar national campaign with a podium finish, officially securing the silver medal.

‎Representing the Davao Eagles, Abanil fought with immense heart in the championship round, before narrowly bowing out to Rex B. Blicao from CAR, 37-54, in the Pencak Silat Tanding Boys category at the Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan del Sur today, Friday, May 29.

‎Despite missing out on the golden prize, Abanil’s silver medal finish remains a massive triumph on the national stage.

Durian Power: Davao City Silat Squad Decimates Competition at DAVRAA 2026 — The mats belonged to the "Crossers" this year as the Davao City Durians Pencak Silat team delivered a historic performance at the DAVRAA Meet 2026, hauling in a massive 15 Gold medals and one Bronze.
​The Durians proved untouchable in both the Seni (Artistic) and Tanding (Match) categories, showcasing a tactical superiority that left rivals struggling to keep pace.
​The road to this gold-rush began long before the first opening ceremony. The squad underwent over a month of intensive in-house training—a period defined by "sacrificing comfort and pushing limits." Under the watchful eyes of their tactical mentors, the athletes refined their jurus (sequences) and sharpened their tanding (combat) reflexes to a razor's edge.
​When they finally stepped into the arena, the result was a masterclass in the Indonesian-rooted martial art. From the fluid, rhythmic beauty of their artistic forms to the explosive power of their combat strikes, the Durians balanced "flawless artistry" with "fearless discipline."
​The success of the "Crossers" was anchored by a dedicated support system at Crossing Bayabas National High School, led by:
