Drivers Association of the Philippines Initiative Group Inc. (DAPIGI) was honored to participate in the Road Safety Education Drive organized by the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) Davao de Oro, under the leadership of Lt. Col. Ronald Allan Tolosa, with the full support of the Provincial Government of Davao de Oro.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve as a Resource Speaker during the Road Safety Education Drive held in the Municipality of Mawab, Davao de Oro.

This initiative highlights the importance of continuously updating our tricycle drivers on Defensive Driving Techniques, road safety practices, and the latest transportation-related laws. Through education, we can build a safer, more disciplined, and more responsible driving community.

During the program, DAPIGI discussed the objectives of the organization, the rights and responsibilities of Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) drivers, and the legal rights of drivers during traffic apprehensions. We believe that informed drivers become more responsible road users and are better equipped to protect both themselves and the riding public.

DAPIGI remains a committed partner of the government in promoting safe, orderly, and harmonious public transportation through road safety education while advocating for the protection of the rights and welfare of Filipino drivers.

Together, let us continue building a culture of road safety because Road Safety is a Shared Responsibility.

Mariing kinokondena ng Drivers Association of the Philippines Initiative Group Inc. (DAPIGI) ang kamakailang pagpaslang sa isang motorcycle taxi rider. Ang anumang uri ng karahasan laban sa mga gumagamit ng kalsada ay hindi katanggap-tanggap at walang lugar sa ating lipunan.

Nanawagan kami sa mga kinauukulang awtoridad na magsagawa ng mabilis, patas, at masusing imbestigasyon upang mapanagot ang mga may sala at maibigay ang hustisyang nararapat sa biktima. Hinihikayat din namin ang pamahalaan at mga kinauukulang ahensya na paigtingin ang mga hakbang sa kaligtasan at seguridad upang higit na maprotektahan ang ating mga motorcycle taxi riders, mga Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) drivers, at lahat ng gumagamit ng ating mga lansangan.

Sa ating mga kapwa motorcycle taxi riders, PUV drivers, at mga pasahero, hinihikayat namin ang lahat na manatiling mapagmatyag, unahin ang sariling kaligtasan, at agad na iulat sa mga kinauukulang awtoridad ang anumang kahina-hinalang tao o pangyayari.

Sa ngalan ng Drivers Association of the Philippines Initiative Group Inc. (DAPIGI), ipinapaabot namin ang aming taos-pusong pakikiramay at pinakamalalim na pakikidalamhati sa pamilya, mga mahal sa buhay, at mga kasamahan ng nasawing rider. Kaisa ninyo kami sa panalangin na makamit ang katarungan at manaig ang katotohanan.

Sa interview sa DXDC RMN Davao kang Marvin Sardido Ferrando, ang Founder/President sa Drivers Association of the Philippines Initiative Group Inc. (DAPIGI) gibutyag niini nga bag-o lang nga adunay laing hugna sa kagubot sa Middle East apan nganong diha-diha dayon nga nagpasaka sa presyo sa petrolyo.

Dugang butyag ni Ferrando nga hilabihang maapektuhan na sab ang mga taxi drivers ug public utility jeepney (PUJ) drivers ilabina sa ilang renta sa unit kinsa nanginabuhi pinaagi sa pagpamasada.
