ANNOUNCEMENT | DOST-STRAND-N Graduate School Scholarship

Ateneo de Davao University's Graduate School is now accepting applications for the DOST-Science and Technology Regional Alliance of Universities for National Development Scholarship for AY 2026–2027.

The scholarship is open for the following graduate programs:
- Master of Science in Chemistry
- Master of Science in Information Technology
- Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering
- Master of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering

Applicants must first be admitted to the graduate program before applying for the DOST-STRAND-N scholarship.

The deadline for applications is on the 15th of June 2026.

Schedule: 9:30 - 11:30 AM and 1:30 - 3:30 PM

Last March 10, 2026, the 10th AGRIC 2026 Committee convened to evaluate the recently concluded event. Dr. Pilapil led the meeting and presented the reports, which included: (1) the Financial Report, (2) the Summary of Evaluation Results, and (3) the Summary of Participant Comments and Suggestions.

An open forum and committee feedback session followed the presentations, allowing members to share insights and reflections on the event.

The committee expressed its gratitude to the approximately 400 participants who attended the conference. The event was described as well-attended and successful, with active participation from faculty members, graduate students, and external participants.

The comments and suggestions gathered from the participants were carefully noted and will be considered by the committee as they begin planning for the 11th AGRIC Conference in SY 2027.

The 10th Ateneo Graduate Research and Innovation Conference (AGRIC) 2026, held on February 28, 2026, marked a historic milestone for the Graduate School community. For the first time, graduate students and faculty members from the five Schools—SAS, SBG, SEA, SOE, and SON—came together in one academic event.

The conference featured Atty. Mark T. Peñalver, Executive Director of Interfacing Development Interventions for Sustainability (IDIS), as keynote speaker, sharing insights on sustainable development and environmental governance.

The event also showcased the exceptional research of graduate students during the parallel research sessions, highlighting diverse scholarly contributions across disciplines.

HAPPENING NOW | FIDP Training for Graduate School Professors

The Graduate School faculty are currently participating in the Faculty Instructional Development Program (FIDP), designed to strengthen outcomes-based education and institutional alignment.

This training aims to:
• Formulate policy-anchored Program Goals aligned with CMO 15, s. 2019
• Critically review and refine Program Outcomes as groundwork for OBE-IPP alignment and curriculum mapping
• Accomplish key alignment to the following:
1. Aligning program goals with institutional outcomes;
2. Aligning program outcomes with program goals;
3. Formulating performance indicators for the program outcomes;
4. Mapping program courses with program outcomes;
5. Mapping course outcomes with program outcomes; and
6. Designing the course using the OBE-IPP framework.

Led by the Office of Strategic Management and Quality Assurance (OSMQA), this initiative reinforces the AdDU Graduate School's commitment to quality, relevance, and continuous improvement.
