Next week, our Grove families will spend the day exploring Saddleback Haven together—a special opportunity to connect with nature, with one another, and with the joy of learning beyond the classroom.

When we decided to suspend today’s classes, we sent our Grove families a simple invitation:
🌿 Create a self-portrait using nature treasures found around your home.
What came back was beautiful.
Children searched for leaves and flowers, collected nature treasures, and transformed them into unique works of art. 💚
More than the finished creations, we loved seeing the process—the observing, exploring, choosing, and creating.
Thank you, Grove families, for learning alongside your little ones and embracing these moments of discovery together. 🌿✨

Every brushstroke is building concentration, coordination, creativity, and fine motor control.

Today was meant to be our first day of the June cycle.
The welcome board was ready. The classroom was prepared. And we were so excited to meet our new little Grovers.
Then the earthquake came.
While we were disappointed not to welcome everyone today, the safety of our children, families, and team will always come first.
We look forward to opening our doors soon and beginning this journey together.
Until then, stay safe, everyone. 💚

The work of early childhood educators is often unseen. It’s found in the child who finally speaks up, shares a toy, tries again after failing, or walks into school with confidence.
