Every position may come to an end, but the values of service, leadership, and compassion remain.
The City College of Davao – Red Cross Youth proudly celebrates Angelie Anne Gata as she concludes her term as the Davao City Junior Department Head of the Public Safety and Security Office under the Davao City Junior Officials (DCJO) Batch Waling-Waling.

Before taking on this role, Angelie served as the Secretary of the City College of Davao – Red Cross Youth, dedicating her time and efforts to humanitarian service, youth leadership, and community safety. Her journey from serving within the RCY to becoming a Davao City Junior Official reflects her commitment to making a meaningful difference wherever she is called to serve.

As this chapter comes to a close through the turnover of position, we honor not only the title she held but, more importantly, the service, experiences, friendships, and lessons she gained along the way.
May this experience continue to shape you into a stronger and more compassionate leader. The position may be turned over, but the impact of your service will remain.

Thank you for your service, Annie! Your RCY family is proud of you. Continue to lead, serve, and inspire wherever your journey takes you.

RAIN & FLOOD SAFETY ADVISORY ‼️ 🌧️

As continuous rainfall affects many communities, we encourage everyone to remain alert, prepared, and informed. Floods can happen unexpectedly, threatening lives, damaging homes, and disrupting daily life. However, with the right knowledge and preparedness, we can reduce risks and protect those we love.

Preparedness is not just about having emergency supplies it's about making responsible decisions before, during, and after a disaster. Always monitor official weather updates, prepare an emergency go-bag, identify safe evacuation routes, and keep emergency contact numbers readily available.

If flooding occurs, remember:
✅ Never walk, swim, or drive through floodwaters. Even shallow water can be dangerous, and hidden hazards may put your life at risk. Turn Around, Don't Drown.

✅After the flood, continue to exercise caution.
Inspect your surroundings before returning home,
avoid contaminated water, and prioritize your health and safety.

Every small act of preparedness makes a significant difference. By staying informed and helping one another, we build a stronger and more resilient community.

📞 IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, CALL 911

Together, let us promote a culture of preparedness, resilience, and compassion.

Stay Aware. Stay Safe. Save Lives. ❤️
