Today, September 10, 2026, our school community actively participated in the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) to strengthen our disaster preparedness and ensure a safe learning environment.
By participating in this nationwide initiative, we continue to build muscle memory and instill a culture of safety among everyone on campus. Here is how our school executed today's safety drill:

🏠 For Our Learners at HomePracticed

"Duck, Cover, and Hold": Students followed standard safety procedures from their homes, immediately taking shelter under sturdy furniture during the simulated alarm.

Safety first: No physical evacuation was required for our home-based learners, ensuring a safe and controlled simulation.

🏫 For Our School Personnel & Teachers

Executed NSED Protocols:
Our dedicated teachers and school staff strictly followed the prescribed National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) disaster response mechanisms.Evaluated

Readiness:
Personnel managed accountability checks and school emergency coordination protocols to protect our community.

This year, we celebrate the beauty, richness, and importance of our Filipino language and culture through the theme:

“Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon”

Ang Buwan ng Wika ay isang taunang pagdiriwang na nagbibigay-halaga sa wikang Filipino, kultura, kasaysayan, at pagkakakilanlan ng bawat Pilipino. Sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang gawaing pangwika at pangkultura, nahihikayat ang mga mag-aaral na mahalin, gamitin, at pagyamanin ang ating sariling wika.

Ngayong taon, binibigyang-diin din ang makabuluhang ugnayan ng Wikang Filipino at Artificial Intelligence (AI) bilang mga kasangkapan sa pagkatuto, pananaliksik, at paghahanap ng impormasyon—kasabay ng responsableng paggamit ng teknolohiya.

📣 ULA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CELEBRATES THE SUCCESS OF PAKIG-AMBIT 2026

Ula Elementary School celebrates the successful conduct of Pakig-ambit 2026—an initiative dedicated to evaluating the school’s best practices, monitoring ongoing programs, ensuring the faithful implementation of DepEd policies, and gathering actionable feedback to enhance curriculum delivery and school governance. This meaningful activity highlighted the shared commitment of our entire educational community toward continuous improvement and institutional quality.

The program was successfully held under the proactive leadership of our school principal, Sir Wilmar Y. Villanueva. The school was also highly honored to welcome our esteemed visitors, Maricel O. Noquiao, PhD, Public Schools District Supervisor, and Lhea M. Huevos, PhD, Public Schools District Supervisor, whose presence and professional insights greatly enriched the evaluation process.

This vital initiative underscores our shared responsibility in shaping the future of our youth. The entire event is anchored on the inspiring theme, "Kaisa sa Adhikain, Kaagapay sa Tagumpay ng Bawat Mag-aaral"
This theme serves as a powerful reminder that quality education cannot be achieved in isolation. It requires a unified community where every stakeholder is aligned with the same vision and actively walks alongside our learners on their educational journey. By assessing our current standing, monitoring progress, building up our capabilities, and implementing strategic tasks together, we ensure that no student is left behind.
