It's Suzuki Sunday once again!! - a vibrant celebration of music, community, and the joy of learning—an occasion that unites young violinists from all levels for a day of shared play, laughter, and artistic growth. To be held at Balay Kalipay in Malagos, Baguio District. This special gathering transforms a regular weekend day into a memorable experience centered on the power of collective music-making.
‎Suzuki Sunday becomes more than just a class; it is a testament to how music can bring people closer, nurture creativity, and fill young hearts with a lifelong love for the arts.

‎When MusiCabin proprietors Krizmagnum Ibaos— Director of the Davao Suzuki Youth Orchestra, and Robert Melvin Legal — DSYO Event/Social Media Coordinator & PR Officer, received an invitation from the KALIWAT Performing Artists Collective thru Sir Benjie Cava, they knew they were stepping into a gathering that would shape Davao’s cultural landscape in 2026. Led by Sir Nestor T. Horfilla —one of Mindanao Community Theater’s most respected Stalwarts—and joined by the Head of Davao City's Culture and the Arts— Sir Oscar Casaysay, the meeting brought together a powerhouse of artistic leaders.

‎The room buzzed with energy as Sir Teng Arkoncel , Sir Buddy Mark Salonga, Sir Benjie Cava, Sir Edmund Superada, and Sir Ralleon Monsanto added their unique perspectives to the table. The synergy of these creative minds was palpable, as each KALIWAT Members shared their vision for celebrating Davao Theater Arts' rich cultural heritage.

‎The Davao Suzuki Youth Orchestra will be participating in two major events, the Araw ng Dabaw festivities and the highly anticipated Theater Shows happening this June 2026. This collaboration promises to create unforgettable experiences that bridge music and theater, showcasing the talents of Davao’s young artists while honoring the region’s Artistic Legacy.

To be in the company of Davao’s most respected theater arts luminaries was truly an inspiring and humbling experience – every conversation sparked new ideas and deepened our passion for the craft we all love.
