After years of striving to break free from society’s chains of oppression and restriction, women throughout history finally secured the rights they fought so tirelessly for. 👩👏 Today, our women get to enjoy freedoms and privileges that were denied to their foremothers for centuries—from the right to education and vote to pursuing careers and shaping public life.

We observe National Women’s Month to honor the extraordinary sacrifices, resilience, and courage of women across generations—from the trailblazers who paved the way to the everyday heroes who continue to make a difference today. It is a time to celebrate their immeasurable contributions to our families, communities, society, and our nation—whether through nurturing the next generation, driving progress in workplaces, advocating for justice, or uplifting those around them. Their strength and spirit have not only transformed our world but also continue to inspire us to build a more inclusive and equal future for all.

Our deepest appreciation goes to the City Government of Davao, DepEd Philippines, DepEd Davao City, and the Sangguniang Kabataan - Brgy. Ma-a, led by SK Chairman Hon. Jericho Emphasis, together with all the SK Ma-a Kagawads, represented by Hon. Jhon Ford Cordova.

We also acknowledge the dedicated working force of the SK Ma-a Staff: SK Secretary Quinn Agonsa, Jophit Agonsa, SK Treasurer Kristel Dumanacal, and Hon. Cyrus Bacalso Oñez Jr.. (Cy, your craftsmanship is exemplary) for their invaluable support and partnership in making this initiative possible.

We are equally grateful to the Ma-a National High School Administration, spearheaded by the ever-supportive and dynamic School Principal, Ma’am Lilia V. Our sincere appreciation also goes to our esteemed resource speakers from DENR– EMB Davao Region XI, and to Sir Wi******er Lemen, President and CEO of Envirotech Recycling Inc. – Winder Recycling Company, for generously sharing your expertise and inspiring us to become stronger advocates of environmental stewardship.

Special thanks to our dedicated Science Teachers, the committed Zero Waste Management Club Officers, Eco-Patrols, and members, particularly the students of Grade 9 Almasiga, Grade 9 Guijo, and Grade 7 Maagap, together with the selected and active leaders and officers of the YES-O and PSYSC Clubs, including the brilliant minds behind the smiles and those capturing every angle of this seminar—Ang Gintong Butil, trained and mentored by Sir Reymund Munch Pimentel. Your passion, effort, and commitment are truly valued and recognized.

I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Ma’am Sheryll B. Parami Betina More, our Acting Science Department Head, for the trust and confidence she has given me and for her all-out support in all our club activities. Your guidance and encouragement mean so much to us.

Allow me also to give special recognition to our valued SK Ma-a partner, the Head of the Committee on Environment, Hon. Erique Joshua B. Barral Erique Barral, whose commitment and dedication to environmental advocacy are truly immeasurable. Your unwavering support and partnership greatly strengthened this initiative, and we are deeply grateful for your service to our community.

As your Club Coordinator, I am deeply honored and grateful to work alongside all of you. Your service to our school community has made a meaningful and lasting impact. This advocacy is truly a collaborative effort, and without your support and dedication, this would not have been possible. My sincere salute to each one of you.

Above all, I offer my highest gratitude to our Almighty Father for His endless love, guidance, and for sustaining our strength.

𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 | Kudos to the 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 for their efforts in keeping our campus clean 😊. They made sure the place was tidy before and during 𝐒𝐓𝐄 𝐃𝐚𝐲, and even did a clean-up afterwards. We appreciate your efforts towards a cleaner campus!

✨💚 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟓𝟐 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲!💚✨

𝑴𝑨-𝑨 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 proudly celebrated its 52𝒏𝒅 𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑫𝒂𝒚 last February 13, 2026 — just in time for the season of love! ❤️

The 𝒁𝒆𝒓𝒐 𝑾𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 played a vital role in making the celebration not only joyful but also environmentally responsible. From ensuring cleanliness before, during, and after the event, to conducting clean-up drives around the campus (especially near trash bins!), the club truly showed what it means to care for our school and our environment. 🌱♻️

As part of the 𝑷𝒓𝒆-𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆'𝒔 𝑫𝒂𝒚 festivities, the club also sold various items — spreading love while promoting sustainability and supporting their initiatives. 💐🍬

We proudly commend our 𝒁𝒆𝒓𝒐 𝑾𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 for their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and sustainable 𝑴𝑨-𝑨 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍! 💚👏

The members worked together to segregate collected materials properly and restore the space to a clean and welcoming condition. This activity also served as part of their preparation for the upcoming PAKIG-AMBIT event, reflecting the club’s commitment to environmental responsibility, teamwork, and service to the school community. 🌱✨
