๐Ÿ’™ To follow Christ is to walk with Him through every part of the journey.

This was the invitation of the Moments with the Lord session held on September 24 at the Leo Dominguez Amphitheater, with the Ateneo Chorale Ensemble, Society of the First Companions, YCLC, and SAMAFIL.

As a formation activity for various student clubs at AdDU JHS, Moment with the Lord provides a space for students to pause from their usual activities, reflect on their experiences, and discern how God is present and at work in their lives and communities.

With the theme โ€œ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ฉ๐’๐’†๐’”๐’”๐’†๐’… ๐‘ฝ๐’Š๐’“๐’ˆ๐’Š๐’ ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’“๐’š: ๐‘ถ๐’–๐’“ ๐‘ด๐’๐’…๐’†๐’ ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ญ๐’‚๐’Š๐’•๐’‰ ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐‘ซ๐’Š๐’”๐’„๐’Š๐’‘๐’๐’†๐’”๐’‰๐’Š๐’‘,โ€ the session invited students to journey with Maryโ€”not simply as the Mother of Jesus, but as a faithful disciple who walked closely with Him.

Her journey included moments of joy and uncertainty, understanding and mystery, presence and suffering. She listened, pondered, accompanied, persevered, and remained faithful as she followed her Son.

Mary reminds us that discipleship is lived one day, one choice, and one encounter at a time.
May her life inspire us to know Christ more deeply, walk with Him more faithfully, and allow our faith to become visible in the way we lead, relate, and serve others.

On September 11, our Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist gathered for the Basic Bible Seminar 2026 at the Leo Dominguez JHS Amphitheater.

Through Scripture, we were invited to pause, listen, and reflect on how Godโ€™s Word continues to speak to us in our own journey of faith and service.

Last July, our Grade 9 Blue Knights were invited to step away from the noise of everyday life and enter into a space of prayer, reflection, and discernment through their Recollection.

Guided by the theme โ€œForming a Christ-Centered Conscience through Freedom and Ignatian Discernment,โ€ they were reminded that true freedom is not simply doing what we want, but having the courage to choose what is good, loving, and life-giving.

In the spirit of Ignatian discernment, may they continue to recognize Godโ€™s invitations in the movements of their hearts and grow in the grace to choose the path that leads them closer to Christ and to others.

On September 8, 2026, while we gathered as a community to celebrate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Campus Ministry Office launched the Faith-In-Dialogue, Encounter, and Solidarity (FIDES) Program.

FIDES offers dedicated spaces for our students of different faith traditions. Muslim students and students of other Christian faiths participate in separate sessions, each accompanied by their respective facilitators and guided by their own faith experiences.

At its heart, FIDES invites us to build a school community where differences in faith are not barriers to friendship, respect, and solidarity.
As Mary teaches us through her openness and generous response, may we learn to listen, welcome, and walk with othersโ€”honoring each person's journey while growing together as one community.
