The journey continues as the University of the Immaculate Conception – College of Computer Studies delegation officially arrives in Taiwan for Phase 3 of the iUIC iLEAD-CS (International
Leadership, Education, and Development in Computer Studies) Mobility Program at Providence University, happening from April 12–18, 2026!

This exciting phase marks another milestone in strengthening global competence, innovation, and leadership among our future IT professionals. Through immersive learning experiences, collaborative activities, and cross-cultural exchange, our delegates are set to gain valuable insights into international trends in technology and education.

Joining this meaningful endeavor is the Information Technology Program of Pilar College of Zamboanga City (PCZC), making this program even more dynamic as institutions come together to foster shared growth, collaboration, and global engagement.

The University of the Immaculate Conception – College of Computer Studies (UIC-CCS), in collaboration with the External Relations and Internationalization Office (ERIO), successfully conducted the Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) for six (6) Information Technology (IT) students bound for outbound mobility at Providence University in Shalu District, Taichung, Taiwan.

The orientation serves as a preparatory session for the upcoming flagship program, International Leadership, Education, and Development in Computer Studies (iUIC iLEAD-CS) 2026 – Phase 3, scheduled from April 11–18, 2026.

Wishing our student delegates a meaningful and enriching international learning experience as they represent UIC on the global stage.

Six (6) students, accompanied by Asst. Prof. Cris John David R. Manero, MIT, is representing UIC in this international mobility program, where they will engage in academic exchange, collaborative learning, and activities that enhance their competencies in information technology, leadership, and global digital innovation.

𝗨𝗜𝗖 𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗘 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗 𝗥𝗢 𝗫𝗜

ITE students from the University of the Immaculate Conception, currently undertaking their practicum at CHED RO XI, successfully presented their final output to Regional Director Maricar R. Casquejo.

Their project, titled “CHED ONSE Knowledge Management Information System,” is designed to serve as a centralized digital repository for CHED RO XI records. The system consolidates key documents such as permits, recognitions, Certificates of Program Compliance (COPCs), enrollment lists, promotional reports, communications, memoranda, CAVs, Special Orders, and other institutional records. It is intended to capture, organize, and manage both explicit and tacit knowledge within the office.

This initiative marks a significant step in advancing the digitization and records management efforts of CHED RO XI, providing an efficient and automated platform for streamlined record storage, retrieval, and access to information.
