EARLIER TODAY | Acacia National High School conducted its Miting De Avance for the 2026–2027 SSLG Elections, providing an opportunity for students to become familiar with the platforms and goals of the candidates. The two competing partylists, SIGLA and ASPIRE, presented their respective programs before fellow students and teachers.

During the activity, each candidate took the microphone to share their vision and purpose for the school community. They emphasized their commitment to serve with responsibility and uphold the duties of the positions they seek. Students expressed their support through enthusiastic cheers for their chosen candidates.

SSLG Adviser Mrs. Michelle P. Taipen reminded the candidates and voters, “Leadership is not measured by title or position, but by the actions you take and the values you uphold. Win or lose, you can still be a leader in your own way.” She further stressed that while titles may define a role, true leadership is demonstrated through consistent action and accountability, even beyond the campaign period.

As the election approaches, the school community is encouraged to choose leaders who will listen to students’ concerns, help improve the school environment, and serve as the voice of all.
