The UIC College of Medical and Biological Sciences (CMBS), in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross - Davao City Chapter, finally opens its gates once again and invites you for the annual 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 this 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, from 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟰:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 at the 𝗨𝗜𝗖 𝗙𝗿. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀.
With the theme, “𝙇𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙂: 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨, 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝘿𝙧𝙤𝙥 𝙖 𝙩 𝙖 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚,” this event hopes to inspire the community to take part in a small act of generosity that can bring hope and life to others.

The CMBS booth transformed into a dynamic hub of science and discovery at the UIC University Fair 2026. Students explored the world of Medical Laboratory Science and Biology, observing microscopic slides, preserved specimens, and practicing hands-on techniques such as pipetting, gaining direct experience with the skills that define CMBS training.
CMBS student officers also highlighted why UIC-CMBS is the choice for future scientists and healthcare professionals, presenting the college’s academic programs, research opportunities, and supportive student community. As the University Fair concluded, the CMBS booth stood with pride winning the ‘Most Interactive Booth’ for Layag, Pasigarbo, Hugyaw 2026! It has become a space of learning, engagement, and inspiration, inviting students to set sail on their own journey of scientific excellence.

At this year’s UIC University Fair 2026, the College of Medical and Biological Sciences (CMBS) sailed beyond the shores of discovery as its booth and activities welcomed students eager to explore the worlds of Medical Laboratory Science and Medical Biology.

Visitors encountered real specimens 🐹, including preserved microorganisms, joined interactive activities, and discovered what it takes to become future Medical Laboratory Scientists and Biologists, while also learning about the college’s topnotchers and remarkable passing rates a testament to the excellence of UIC-CMBS.

As the day sailed on, the excitement continued into the afternoon highlights where the energy peaked with Sherwinabols leading the crowd and bringing vibrant CMBS spirit to the celebration. With curiosity, laughter, and discovery filling the air, students truly set sail on a journey of learning, innovation, and pride, capturing the dynamic spirit of the CMBS community at the UIC University Fair 2026.
