Education remains a priority even during emergencies. Through DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024, schools are guided by four learning continuity pathways that ensure learners receive the support they need, no matter the situation.

🟢 HAYO (Continue) – Learning proceeds as usual in safe and stable environments where learners and teachers are physically secure, emotionally well, and ready to engage in meaningful learning.

🟡 HINAY (Ease-In) – When minor disruptions occur, schools adapt and provide flexible support as learners navigate changes in routines and varying access to learning resources.

🟠 HINGA (Check-In) – During periods of heightened stress caused by emergencies or disasters, schools prioritize learners' well-being while supporting their gradual return to learning.

🔴 HINTO (Stop) – In situations where safety and basic needs are at risk, learning activities are paused as protection, recovery, and essential support take precedence.

By responding to the realities faced by learners and communities, DepEd ensures that education remains responsive, inclusive, and resilient in times of uncertainty.

As the nation commemorates the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, the Schools Division of Davao Occidental joins all Filipinos in honoring the courage, sacrifices, and patriotism of our heroes who fought for the freedom and sovereignty of our nation.

In observance of this year’s theme, “Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan.”, we reaffirm the Department of Education’s commitment to fostering among learners a deep sense of nationalism, appreciation of our rich history, and responsibility in preserving the gains of freedom for future generations.

Made possible through the leadership of Teacher-in-Charge Sir Romnick I. Gildore and the collective efforts of teachers, parents, stakeholders, local leaders, and generous donors, this new learning space stands as a symbol of unity, hope, and progress.

As classes begin, the Inaburan Extension welcomes learners to a safer and more accessible environment where dreams can grow, futures can be built, and every child is given the opportunity to shine.

What was once a dream for the community is now a vibrant learning space filled with hope and possibility. This milestone marks a significant step toward bringing quality education closer to the young learners. The air buzzes with excitement as teachers prepare to welcome students to a facility built on collective effort and shared vision.

Leaded by the dynamic Teacher-in-Charge Sir Romnick I. Gildore, whose unwavering dedication turned plans into reality. Alongside him, the unity of devoted stakeholders, teachers, parents, local leaders, and private donors who have worked tirelessly to ensure every classroom and pathway was ready for day one. It is not just a structure, but a testament to what a united community can achieve for its children. Their collaborative spirit turned challenges into stepping stones, proving that education truly thrives when everyone lends a hand.
