The entire Philippine Red Cross organization expresses its deep sympathy and sincere condolences to The House of Windsor, the United Kingdom, and the Commonwealth Realms for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, The Patron of the British Red Cross and a supporter of the Red Cross Movement
Through monetary contributions, the British government assisted the Philippine Red Cross in several disasters that transpired in the country. When PRC launched its Emergency Appeal for the victims of Typhoon Goni, they immediately sent a contribution to help those affected.
The British Red Cross also funded the recovery program of families affected by Typhoon Haiyan in Iloilo which helped them to be more resilient in disasters.
The Philippine Red Cross bows our head to the commitment of Her Majesty The Queen to help those in need.

WHY ARE VACCINES IMPORTANT?
Ever since the idea of vaccination was created by Edward Jenner, we have lessened the spread of any contagious diseases such as MEASLES, POLIOMYELITIS, and many more. And even until now, it is still the most EFFICIENT solution to an epidemic and pandemic.
Vaccines are important for it is essential to lessen the outbreak of a virus. But, it is more important to get vaccinated. This is for the reason that in this way we would be able to protect ourselves and especially the people that we love. And this is our contribution to helping our community.
We know that many have uncertainty about the idea of getting vaccinated due to false information/fake news. But, it also our duty to educate ourselves about it. If we are educated, and we take the step to educate ourselves then we wouldn't be swayed by a piece of inaccurate information. Again, vaccines are not made to harm the people but to help and protect people from getting infected.
