After the inspection and assessment of our school buildings, they have been declared safe and ready for occupancy. Therefore, regular face-to-face classes will resume tomorrow, June 15, 2026.

We encourage all learners to attend their classes and continue observing safety precautions.

The Teaching Force of Antonio Pichon Jr. Elementary School for School Year 2026- 2027.

Yesterday was one of the most memorable school openings we have ever experienced. It was not because everything went as planned, but because it showed the dedication, courage, and love of our teachers for their learners.

During a challenging moment brought about by the earthquake, our teachers remained calm and caring, ensuring the safety and well-being of their learners while also worrying about their own children and families. Their actions reflected the true heart of a teacher—putting the needs of their learners first while keeping everyone safe.

Despite the unexpected circumstances, we are grateful and happy to welcome our APJESians back to school. Seeing their smiles, excitement, and eagerness to learn reminded us that together, we can face any challenge.

As we begin this new school year, let us continue to support one another, stay safe, and keep faith that brighter days are ahead.

In anticipation of possible aftershocks and pending the completion of ongoing structural assessments, government offices in Davao City, including local government offices and national government agencies, shall adopt a work-from-home arrangement tomorrow, June 9, 2026, EXCEPT for offices providing safety and security, health, sanitation, traffic management, social services, and disaster and emergency response services.

The private sector is encouraged to adopt similar arrangements to ensure the welfare and safety of their employees.

Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private educational institutions shall remain suspended tomorrow, June 9, 2026, pending the completion of safety inspections.

Educational institutions are encouraged to adopt online or distance learning modalities to ensure the welfare and safety of their students and personnel.

Due to the recent earthquake experienced in Davao City, classes at all levels, both public and private institutions, and work in all local and national government offices within the city are hereby suspended effective immediately, today, June 8, 2026.

Private offices and institutions are likewise encouraged to do the same to ensure the welfare and safety of their employees .

Antonio Pichon Jr. Elementary School warmly invites all parents, guardians, stakeholders, and community partners to join us as we officially begin our Brigada Eskwela and Enrollment from June 1–5, 2026.

The APJES family took a well-deserved break through a fun and exciting team building activity filled with laughter and unforgettable memories. After a busy and challenging school year, teachers and staff enjoyed the chance to relax, bond, and recharge together.
