BCI-CDC Welcomes Learners Back with Exciting Opening Week Activities
DAVAO CITY โ A new school year is set to begin with enthusiasm and excitement as the Brokenshire College, Inc. โ Child Development Center (BCI-CDC) officially opens classes on June 29, 2026, with a series of activities designed to help learners transition smoothly into school life while promoting leadership, participation, and community engagement.
The opening week will commence on Monday, June 29, with the Opening of Classes from 7:00- AM-12 NN. There will be no more afternoon classes or activities. Learners will be warmly welcomed by their teachers and classmates as they begin another year of learning and growth. On the same day, students will also participate in the Classroom Officersโ Election, providing them with an opportunity to develop leadership skills and take active roles in their respective classes.
On June 30, learners will take part in the BED Internal Policy Student Orientation in the morning, where they will be introduced to important school policies, guidelines, and expectations that will help ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment throughout the academic year. In the afternoon, students will attend the BED Support Studentsโ Orientation at the BCI Amphitheater, where they will be oriented on the various support services available to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school year.
The activities continue on July 1, with Classroom Activities scheduled in the morning. These activities aim to foster camaraderie among learners and help them become more comfortable in their classroom setting. In the afternoon, parents and guardians are invited to attend the BED Support Services Parentsโ Orientation at the BCI Amphitheater. This orientation seeks to strengthen the partnership between the school and families by providing important information on school programs, services, and ways parents can actively support their children's educational journey.
On July 2, school personnel are expected to participate in the HR Orientation for Employees. This activity aims to provide faculty and staff with important updates and information relevant to the new school year.
On July 3, students will participate in Club Day and Club Election Day. This exciting activity will give learners the opportunity to explore various clubs, discover their interests, showcase their talents, and elect student leaders who will help guide club activities throughout the year.
