Alhamdulillāh, Mahrajan 2025 has come to a beautiful close!

After the final bell rang, exams were officially over this semester. Students gathered with smiles, relieved to trade textbooks for laughter. The rooms are quickly filled with excitement, as the fun took center stage.

Truly, this gathering was not just a celebration of culture and tradition, but a manifestation of the blessings of Allah ﷻ upon our community. With hearts full of gratitude, we reflect on the unity and joy shared during this memorable event.

Beyond the stage and activities, Mahrajan 2025 became a space where brotherhood and sisterhood flourished.

As the Prophet ﷺ said: “The believers are but one body; when one part feels pain, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.” [Bukhari & Muslim]. Truly, we felt the warmth of unity in this gathering.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the organizers, participants, and supporters who dedicated their time and energy for this event. May Allah ﷻ reward you abundantly for your efforts, and may He accept this celebration as a means of strengthening our faith, preserving our culture, and inspiring the next generation.

As we close Mahrajan 2025, we pray that Allah keeps our hearts united, our traditions alive, and our faith steadfast. May this event remind us to always celebrate with gratitude, live with purpose, and hold firmly to the values of Islam in everything we do. Bi’idhnillah, until we meet again in the next Mahrajan — Jazakumullahu khayran and Barakallahu feekum! 🤍

𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗸𝗼𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗶 𝗪𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗵.

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵 || Alhamdulillah! Our 4th and final muhadarah for this semester, held on August 3 2025, was a great success. The topic "Ang Apat na Usapin" (The Four Matters), wherein in every matter — knowledge, action, invitation, and patience — lies the path to success in the sight of Allah.

These four matters are deeply interconnected. Knowledge leads to action. Action inspires da‘wah. Da‘wah demands patience. And patience strengthens the cycle of all three. Together, they form a framework that can transform not only individual Muslims, but entire communities.

Let us reflect on the timeless words of Surah Al-‘Asr, where Allah, swears by time that mankind is in a state of loss—except for those who believe, do righteous deeds, call to truth, and remain patient. These are the Four Matters, and in them lies salvation.

عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ:

"لَا تَزُولُ قَدَمَا عَبْدٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يُسْأَلَ عَنْ عُمْرِهِ فِيمَ أَفْنَاهُ، وَعَنْ عِلْمِهِ فِيمَ فَعَلَ، وَعَنْ مَالِهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ اكْتَسَبَهُ وَفِيمَ أَنْفَقَهُ، وَعَنْ جِسْمِهِ فِيمَ أَبْلَاهُ."

“The feet of the servant will not move on the Day of Judgment until he is asked about his life and how he spent it, his knowledge and what he did with it, his wealth—how he earned it and how he spent it, and his body and how he used it.”

As we begin this remarkable journey together, let’s pause and remind ourselves: it is a reflection of our identity as Muslims, a celebration of our unity, and a chance to worship Allah through excellence, character, and purpose.

As we gather to showcase our skills and talents, let's not forget the Islamic values that guide us. Let's strive to embody the principles of unity, respect, and fairness that our faith teaches us. May our interactions be filled with kindness, compassion, and good sportsmanship.
