Let's go back to our re-usable utensils, water jugs, tote bags or bayongs, baunan/ food containers, and avoid single use plastics. We have managed with very minimal plastic use before, it's not too late to shift to sustainable lifestyle. Let's dispose our wastes properly, throw them in trash bins, re-cycle if possible, and be mindful of leaving any used items/ packaging/ trash, whether your are in the forest, sea or city.

Thus, the F. Bangoy National High School implements a new policy entitled; Zero Plastic Wastes Policy of F. Bangoy National High School. This aims to eradicate the used of plastic wastes that pollutes our nearby coastal areas and marine wildlife. Series of consultations were done by the Principal, Department heads, Curriculum heads, teachers, students, and parents before the implementation.

Hence, our wildlife already face many threats, let us not hurt them further with our discards. Let's use reusables!

Marine life and Aquatic Resources play an important role for biodiversity. However, our marine ecosystem is continually degrading because of the plastic pollution.

We, the Youth for Environment in Schools students of F. Bangoy NHS, Boy Scouts and Rover Scouts of the Philippines in partnership with the Barangay Sasa Council headed by the Brgy. Chair for Environment Kgwd. Alunday and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Sasa headed by SK Chairman Welce John Ramos taking the lead of Cleaning the nearby coastal areas of Brgy. Sasa and the community near the coastlines under the program of Project ASYA (A Sustainable Youth Advocacy) on Marine Life Management.

This activity gives an avenue for the students to help and clean their community as one of the catalysts for a better community! This is also a wakeup call to the community the importance of cleanliness of their surroundings.

Ang Kabataan pa rin ang PAG-ASA NG BAYAN! ❤ ❤ ❤

Presenting the Francisco Bangoy National High School's entry to DCWD's 3rd Campaign - Project A.S.Y.A. This is its project entry launching attended by the class Presidents and Vice Presidents at the same time Environmental Forum. Project A.S.Y.A (A Sustainable Youth Advocacy) has its 4 subdivisions Solid Education Advocacy, Marine life Management, Life Existence Programs, and Solid Wastes Management.
