🧠💡 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰?
The 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 to a rehab center in 2023 was 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟐 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝—showing that drug use can start at a very young age.

📊 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐛: 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟎% of all rehab patients were 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝟏𝟖 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝. Also, 𝟒𝟐% of those admitted 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝟏𝟓-𝟏𝟗, making the teenage years a high-risk time for drug use.

💡 𝐀 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. Parents, teachers, and communities need to guide and support young people. Talking openly, building strong family bonds, and keeping kids involved in positive activities can help them avoid drugs.
