CHED SIKAP IS NOW OPEN!📣

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has officially opened applications for the Scholarships for Staff and Instructors' Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) 2026.

The program offers scholarship opportunities to qualified teaching and non-teaching personnel of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), as well as employees of government agencies and private institutions who wish to pursue advanced studies.

For this application cycle, CHED is accepting applications under two categories:
1. SIKAP — for plantilla or regular HEI employees
2. SIKAP-N — for non-plantilla or contractual personnel

Qualified scholars may receive financial benefits such as tuition and other school fees, stipend, and research support throughout the duration of their approved degree program.

The application period for Batch 1 runs from May 31 to June 22, 2026. Interested applicants are encouraged to complete their application through the CHED SIKAP Portal and submit all required documents before the deadline.

On June 4, for our last topic on the 2nd KTSFI Mental Health Week, let us hear from 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇. 𝑱𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒀𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒔, as he speaks on the relevant topic: "𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧."

It’s no new that we are now living in a digital age. Those who grew up before social media can truly attest how different life was compared to today. Children now are growing up in a world where gadgets, social media, and online spaces have become part of their daily lives and identity formation.

We also cannot deny that technology has brought many opportunities. But along with it comes the reality of challenges that parents, educators, communities, and even young people, continue to struggle to manage, while still learning how to navigate it wisely and responsibly.

So how do we help raise a generation that is mindful and grounded in faith in a highly digital world?
