Three Days of Growth, Service, and Brotherhood

From August 14–16, the 3-Day Advancement Camp at Telesforo Singson National High School became more than a gathering—it was an opportunity to learn, grow, serve, and strengthen the spirit of scouting.

We were honored to be joined by Davao City Council Scout Leaders Regulo Garnet III A. Abajero and Gikarleo Marcel T. Brotonel, Edgar Gaviola together with our dedicated Volunteer Scout Leaders Kenneth Ceballos, Gary Dela Peña, Erica Jean Del Pilar, Sheila Reyes, and Charles Dave Labiao. Their guidance, time, and commitment helped make the camp a meaningful experience for every scout.

Throughout these three days, the scouts were reminded that advancement is not measured only by the skills we acquire, but by the character they build, the responsibilities they embrace, and the service they are willing to give to others.

As the camp comes to an end, may the lessons, friendships, challenges, and memories shared continue to inspire us beyond the campsite. May we carry with us the true spirit of scouting—to be prepared, lead with purpose, serve with humility, and become better individuals for the community.

Three days may have passed, but the lessons and values gained will remain for a lifetime.

“A Scout is not only prepared for the journey ahead; a Scout helps make the journey better for others.”
