𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’ II 26 September 2026, the City College of Davao ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 9th Training Day for the Military Science 1 (MS1) course during the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027.

The formation began with the checking of attendance, followed by the polishing of the ex*****on of the Manual of Arms. The cadets and cadettes then focused on Drills and Ceremonies, where they were guided by the Training NCOs and CCD ROTCU officers in the proper ex*****on of military movements and formations. The training emphasized precision, coordination, discipline, proper bearing, and synchronization in performing the different drills and ceremonial movements.

Afterwards, the classroom instruction was facilitated by TSg Dax Kindle V Aznar PA (Res), who discussed Military Customs and Traditions, providing the cadets and cadettes with an understanding of the customs and traditions observed within the military.

The training ended successfully at 1200H on the same day.

𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’ II 19 September 2026, the City College of Davao ROTC Unit conducted its Cadet Officer Qualifying Course Classroom Instruction during the afternoon training session.

The classroom instruction focused on the Armalite M16 or M16A1, facilitated by TSg Marcial B Pahayahay (Inf) PA. The COQC candidates were introduced to the different parts and components of the M16, including their functions, as well as the proper procedures for its assemble and disassemble. The instruction aimed to develop their familiarity, knowledge, and proper handling of the r***e as part of their military training.

The session was successfully completed, further enhancing the COQC candidates’ knowledge, discipline, and preparedness for their succeeding training activities.

𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’ II 19 September 2026, the City College of Davao ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 8th Training Day for the Military Science 1 (MS1) course during the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027.

The formation began with the checking of attendance, followed by the ex*****on of Manual of Arms. After which the cadets underwent drills and ceremonies under the guidance of the Training NCOs and CCD ROTCU officers, focusing on proper ex*****on, coordination, precision, and discipline. Simultaneously, other cadets proceeded to their respective specializations under the supervision of the ROTC Training Staff.

Afterwards, Cpl Kim C Bulahan PA (Res) conduct a classroom discussion on Values Transformation 2, emphasizing the importance of discipline, responsibility, respect, and strong character. The activity ended at 1200H on the same day.

𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’ || 19 September 2026, the City College of Davao ROTC Unit participated in Coastal Cleanup at Matina Aplaya, Davao City.

The CCD ROTC Unit Officers, together with Mr. Reymonlea E. Salvaloza, NSTP Coordinator, and Mr. Jamaico C. Magayo, CCD’s Vice President for Administration, took part in the cleanup activity in support of environmental protection and community service. Although the CCD ROTC cadets and cadettes were unable to participate at the said venue, they showed their support by conducting a clean-up drive within the school premises, promoting environmental responsibility, cooperation, and community service.

Both efforts reflected the CCD community’s commitment to environmental responsibility, cooperation, and community service.

The day commenced with attendance checking and formation, followed by drills conducted by the ROTC officers while awaiting the start of the program.

At exactly 0900H, the program officially commenced with the singing of the National Anthem and the Invocation, presented through Audio-Visual Presentations (AVP). This was followed by the Opening Remarks delivered on behalf of Wenefredo E. Cagape, EdD, PhD, College President, by Mr. Reymonlea E. Salvaloza, NSTP Coordinator of the City College of Davao.

TSg Marcial B Pahayahay (Inf) PA, CCD ROTC Chief Clerk, formally presented the COQC candidates. The Confirmation of Opening was then led by LTC ARON JAMES B NASATAYA (INF) PA, CCD ROTC Commandant, who delivered an inspiring message emphasizing leadership, discipline, responsibility, and dedication to service.

The activities concluded successfully, with all COQC aspirants completing the required tasks at each station. The event was further made meaningful by the strong support of the parents, loved ones, and Basic Cadets and Cadettes who witnessed this significant occasion.

The day concluded as a productive and meaningful training experience, marking the beginning of the aspirants’ journey toward becoming future cadet leaders.
