When we are prepared with the knowledge, principles, anatomy, techniques, and management of possible complications, we become more confident, focused, and ready to perform. Knowledge comes before application. When you understand what you are doing, know the principles, and are properly prepared, the actual surgery becomes faster, smoother, and more predictable.

In oral surgery, principles matter. Confidence in surgery is not just about doing more cases—it comes from understanding why you are doing each step and knowing how to manage what may happen.
