𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || 𝐀𝐕𝐒 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬

In coordination with the 7th Air Reserve Center headed by the Commanding Officer, 𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎 𝐑𝐀𝐘 𝐁 𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐈𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (𝐆𝐒𝐂), and with the support of 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐧, Accountable Manager of 𝐀𝐕𝐒 𝐀𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨, the AVS ROTC Unit conducted the Graduation Ceremony of Basic ROTC Cadets and Cadettes and Donning of Ranks for Advance ROTC Officers on May 9, 2026 (Saturday) held at Pavilion 1 & 2, The Club at Northtown, Cabantian, Davao City.

Present during the ceremony were our NSTP Coordinator, 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐙𝐞𝐮𝐬 𝐋 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), together with our MTI, 𝐒𝐒𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐌 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐏𝐀𝐅, whose guidance and support contributed to the successful conduct of the activity.

Also present were 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐑𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐏 𝐓𝐞𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐉𝐫 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), VRI of DWCI ROTC Unit – Davao Wi******er Colleges Inc., 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐋 𝐏𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), and 𝐀𝐌 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐉 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), whose presence added honor and significance to the occasion.

The AVS ROTC Unit also extends its appreciation to the ROTC Officers of 𝐒𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 for their participation during the Entrance of Colors.

The activity marked the completion of another chapter in the ROTC journey of the cadets, built through discipline, teamwork, commitment, and perseverance. The experiences gained throughout the training will continue to guide them as future leaders and responsible individuals.

On April 12, 2026 (Sunday), a live firing activity was conducted in compliance with the requirements of ROTC MS 2. Cadets and cadettes applied the basic principles acquired from prior training sessions, with emphasis on proper weapon handling, accuracy, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

The activity was conducted under the supervision of 𝟐𝐋𝐓 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐑𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐏 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫, 𝐏𝐀𝐅, and MTI 𝐒𝐒𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐌 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨, 𝐏𝐀𝐅, with the assistance of 𝐀𝐌 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐂 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐠, 𝐏𝐀𝐅, and 𝐀𝐌 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐄 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐧, 𝐏𝐀𝐅, ensuring the proper and orderly ex*****on of the exercise.

Also present during the firing activity were 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐙𝐞𝐮𝐬 𝐋 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞, 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), NSTP Coordinator, along with 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐋 𝐏𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞, 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐑𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐏 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐝, 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), and 𝐀𝐌 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐉 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧, 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), whose presence and support contributed to the smooth and orderly conduct of the exercise.

Under the guidance of trained personnel, participants demonstrated focus, composure, and responsibility while engaging in the firing exercise. This hands-on experience strengthened their marksmanship skills and reinforced the importance of discipline and safety in every action.

Through this activity, cadets continue to grow as responsible individuals, embodying the values of leadership, precision, and service.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || 𝐀𝐕𝐒 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓

On April 11, 2026, during the Fifth Formation and Training Week, the AVS ROTC Unit conducted a preparation and demonstration activity in line with the upcoming firing exercise held off-campus. Cadets and cadettes assembled in formation and participated in structured training designed to reinforce discipline, safety awareness, and basic marksmanship .

The activity focused on dry fire training and proper weapon handling techniques, where cadets were guided through correct rifle posture, trigger discipline, aiming procedures, and strict safety protocols without the use of live ammunition. This served as key preparation to ensure readiness and safety prior to the actual firing activity.

Safety briefing and demonstration were presented by 𝐀𝐌 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐂. 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐠, 𝐏𝐀𝐅, emphasizing the Cardinal Rules of Gun Safety and proper weapon handling. 𝐀𝐌 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐏𝐀𝐅, was also present during the activity. The training was supervised by MTI 𝐒𝐒𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐌. 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨, 𝐏𝐀𝐅, who ensured the proper ex*****on of drills and maintained discipline throughout the session.

Through this training, cadets improved thier skills while developing deeper values of responsibility, composure, and military discipline—qualities essential for safe and effective marksmanship.
