With heavy hearts, CATeneo issues this official statement regarding the rescue today.

We thank the community for your swift compassion and ask for your understanding as we bid a quiet goodbye to a fellow campus resident. 🕊️

𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 🐾

Earlier today, a Catenean was rescued near the Jacinto gate in a very fragile state. Based on her condition and accounts from those in the area, she appears to have been involved in a road accident.

The Catenean is currently under our care at the CCFC Mezzanine while we wait for further medical advice, but we need the community’s help to fund her upcoming treatment and recovery.

We are knocking on your kind hearts for any contribution to help cover her veterinary bills, diagnostic tests, and necessary care. Every bit of support brings her one step closer to moving without pain again.
