UIC SHS - Liturgical Club

𝐔𝐈𝐂 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥

In unity with the Archdiocese of Davao and the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), UIC fervently participates in the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, launched on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 (Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary).

We join the call for a sustained act of supplication for God's mercy and renewal of our people. All UIC families, students, and personnel are encouraged to pray the "𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥" regularly.

Following the CBCP's suggestion, we encourage the faithful to 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑶𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑵𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓, and to 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒓𝒊𝒃𝒃𝒐𝒏𝒔 in homes and public places. This serves as a sign of our desire for transparency, accountability, and good governance. Let us unite in prayer, asking the Lord, through the intercession of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, to heal and renew our nation.

What a day for all of us, Religious Clubs!🕊️

Do you feel spirited? Because we do — body tired, but hearts full and spiritually refueled!

𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴, 𝗪𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗱, 𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱!

This wasn’t just a typical team building — it was a day to reconnect, not just with each other, but with our purpose and with God. We shared laughter, opinions, and experiences.

We came in as different clubs, from different places and experiences, but we were united by one thing—our fa𝗶th. And today reminded us that no matter how busy or different our paths are, we’re all called to serve and love, with open hearts and willing hands.🤝❤️

May we all carry this spirit beyond today — in our 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

Together, they will nurture a community rooted in reverence, unity, and a love for the sacred liturgy. 🌟✝️

We give thanks to God for the blessings bestowed upon our club and for the opportunity to serve Him through our ministry. We extend a warm welcome to our new members, inviting them to share in our mission of liturgical service.

We embark on this journey with hearts full of hope, praying that it will be a time of profound meaning and lasting joy. We believe that through service to the Lord, this experience will enrich our lives and deepen our faith. May this endeavor be a testament to His grace and a source of blessings for all involved.

The UIC SHS Liturgical Club had the privilege of attending the Lectors, Commentators, Choirs, and Psalmists (LCCP) Convention last March 1, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary. With the guidance of our moderators, and the invitation of our dedicated organist, we immersed ourselves in insightful sessions and workshops that deepened our love for liturgical service.

Truly an inspiring experience! ✨
