𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Fire Exit Drill at Philippine College of Technology, Inc. – Calinan

In observance of Fire Prevention Month and the 4th Community Relations Week, the Calinan Fire Station—led by Acting Station Commander SFO4 Brisbane Isidor C. Tarongoy Jr.—successfully conducted a Fire Exit Drill at the Philippine College of Technology, Inc., Calinan Branch (Purok 17-B, Wangan, Calinan District, Davao City).

The drill aimed to strengthen fire safety awareness and preparedness among students, faculty, and staff. It also served as an important educational activity to help the school community develop proper response and evacuation procedures during fire emergencies.

Through this initiative, PCT Calinan reaffirms its commitment to maintaining a safe and disaster-ready learning environment while supporting the Bureau of Fire Protection’s advocacy for public safety and community resilience.

𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 | Building Global Connections: Japanese Delegation from Hamamatsu Visits PCT Calinan

PCT Calinan hosted a special Japanese Campus Visit and Tour featuring HANDs, a student-based organization from Hamamatsu, Japan, and Ma’am Hori Hisano, CEO of Global Human Resources Support Hamamatsu. The event aimed to encourage international cultural exchange and promote global education partnerships.

The guests were given a guided tour of the campus, including classrooms, laboratories, and other facilities, to showcase the college’s academic programs and student environment. The tour highlighted the institution’s dedication to both academic excellence and student engagement.

During the visit, Ma’am Hori Hisano and HANDs members engaged in open discussions with students and faculty, emphasizing the importance of global collaboration, cultural understanding, and skills development in a connected world.
