Rodriguez, Jr., in 1998, under sole proprietorship. He turned it into a foundation- the Doña Pilar Learning Center Foundation Inc, (DPLCFI) in 1990. It was duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on May 3, 1990, under SEC Registration NO. DS-03859. The DOÑA PILAR LEARNING CENTER (DPLC) is offering complete preschool (Grades I, II, III, IV, V, VI). It opened in 1988 with Nursery, Kindergarten and Grade I courses. There were then 107 pupils. Every school-year thereafter, the school added new grade level until the elementary level completed SY 1993-1994 with 491 pupils. DPLC is a duly recognized school of the Department of Education (Dep-Ed). The school is following the K to 12 Curriculum of the Department of Education (Dep-Ed) but with more emphasis in the development of mathematical and communication skills of the pupils. Christian Living Education, Values and discipline are always integrated in the academic subjects and in all the activities of the pupils.
