SPCT’s College Department basketball varsity players showed their fighting spirit, determination, and sportsmanship during an exhibition game against Tagurano team at Barangay Tagurano as part of the Fiesta of St. San Roque celebration.

Together with their coach, Mr. Joseph James Bernadas, and assistant coach, Mr. Louie Jay Tajale, the players displayed strong teamwork and competitive spirit throughout the game. Moreover, the game highlighted a spirit of celebration, camaraderie, and friendly competition.

Isang replektibong tula tungkol sa kamalayang panlipunan, pag-asa, at ang patuloy na pakikipaglaban para sa tunay na kapayapaan, na gumagamit ng katapatan ng kalayaan at kasakiman upang ipakita kung paano nananatili ang daing ng bayan, at kung paano nagpapatuloy ang hangarin sa pagbabago sa puso ng mamamayan.

Pinag-uugnay ng likhang-sining na ito ang ating kultura at ang makabagong teknolohiya para sa Buwan ng Wika. Ipinapakita nito ang temang "Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon," kung saan ang ating wikang pambansa ay patuloy na ginagamit kasama ang mga modernong gadget at Artificial Intelligence upang mas madaling makalikom ng kaalaman at impormasyon sa kasalukuyang panahon.

Anchored on the theme "Building Unity, Leadership, and Camaraderie," today's PHAME team building brought Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) students together for a day of collaboration and dynamic engagement beyond the classroom.

Designed to foster connection and teamwork, the gathering highlighted the collective spirit of future physical education professionals as they participated in various developmental activities. The success of the event was further enriched by the presence and guidance of Ma'am Chiara Jen Carbon and Sir Louiejay Tajale.

When future educators from different year levels come together with a common goal, impactful results follow. The recent ASEP team building highlighted the power of cross-year connections, collaborative leadership, and a unified community spirit among future teaching professionals.

Participants engaged in activities designed to strengthen teamwork and inspire leadership at every level, building connections that extend far beyond the event and laying the groundwork for future classrooms.

The success of the gathering was further enriched by the active participation and guidance of Dr. Katherine Rosales, Education Department Head, alongside education instructors Ms. Glaiza H. Villarobia, Ms. Jiane Tabol, Ms. Mary Rose Billion, and Ms. Diane Sandot, whose presence added value to the activity.

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHEDRO XI) has officially granted Government Recognition No. 002, Series of 2026 to Saint Peter’s College of Toril to operate the Bachelor in Human Services Program, effective Academic Year 2026–2027.

This recognition marks another significant milestone in the institution’s commitment to expanding its academic offerings and providing quality education that prepares students for meaningful careers in the field of human services.

Earlier today, the newly elected College Student Council (CSC), Petrean Voice organization, major club, and minor club officers of St. Peter’s College of Toril Inc. (SPCT) College Department were formally inducted and took their oath of office during the Induction Ceremony at the SPCT gymnasium.

With the theme 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚, the ceremony formally installed the student leaders who will serve the College Department for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

Earlier today, July 16, 2026, the St. Peter's College of Toril Inc. (SPCT) College Department gathered at the SPCT gymnasium for its Monthly Mass, bringing the community together in a shared celebration of faith.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Jesus Samaniego, DCD, in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, under the theme "Mary, Beautiful Flower of Mt. Carmel." The Mass served as a moment of reflection and unity for students, faculty, and staff, reinforcing the shared spiritual and moral values that ground the SPCT community.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪: SPCT Teacher Education Program Participates in Regional Research Forum

St. Peter’s College of Toril, Inc. (SPCT) is participating in the Research Forum hosted by the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) at the College of Education, Obrero Campus.

The SPCT delegation, led by Teacher Education Program Head Dr. Katherine S. Rosales and accompanied by Field Study (FS) students, is attending the live presentation of the study, "An Evidence-Based Admission and Student Support Framework for Teacher Education Institutions," authored by doctoral researcher Edith G. Lofstrand.

Through this active session, the department is gaining direct access to data-driven metrics designed to optimize student retention, enhance board readiness, and strengthen student support systems. The forum serves as a valuable, real-time extension of field experience for the attending FS students, exposing them directly to institutional research and frameworks that shape the future of the teaching profession.
