SPCTโs College Department basketball varsity players showed their fighting spirit, determination, and sportsmanship during an exhibition game against Tagurano team at Barangay Tagurano as part of the Fiesta of St. San Roque celebration.
Together with their coach, Mr. Joseph James Bernadas, and assistant coach, Mr. Louie Jay Tajale, the players displayed strong teamwork and competitive spirit throughout the game. Moreover, the game highlighted a spirit of celebration, camaraderie, and friendly competition.

Designed to foster connection and teamwork, the gathering highlighted the collective spirit of future physical education professionals as they participated in various developmental activities. Earlier today, July 16, 2026, the St. Peter's College of Toril Inc. (SPCT) College Department gathered at the SPCT gymnasium for its Monthly Mass, bringing the community together in a shared celebration of faith.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Jesus Samaniego, DCD, in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, under the theme "Mary, Beautiful Flower of Mt. Carmel." St. Peterโs College of Toril, Inc. (SPCT) is participating in the Research Forum hosted by the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) at the College of Education, Obrero Campus.
The SPCT delegation, led by Teacher Education Program Head Dr. Katherine S. Rosales and accompanied by Field Study (FS) students, is attending the live presentation of the study, "An Evidence-Based Admission and Student Support Framework for Teacher Education Institutions," authored by doctoral researcher Edith G. Lofstrand.
Through this active session, the department is gaining direct access to data-driven metrics designed to optimize student retention, enhance board readiness, and strengthen student support systems. The forum serves as a valuable, real-time extension of field experience for the attending FS students, exposing them directly to institutional research and frameworks that shape the future of the teaching profession.
