Sakya Davao proudly congratulates our very own alumna, PRINCESS VINIZE A. BANZALI, for being hailed as the CHAMPION in the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 Extemporaneous Speaking Competition organized by the Davao City Youth Development Office, Davao City Youth Development Council, and SK Federation of Davao City.

She represented Sakya to this competition which began with the elimination round on July 29, 2026, followed by the final round on August 5, 2026, where Vinize earned a coveted spot among the Top 3 finalists. After the official final ranking was announced on August 12, 2026, she emerged as the City-Wide Champion, a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about her confidence, eloquence, critical thinking, and ability to articulate ideas with substance and conviction.

Competing under the theme “Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation Through Technology and Partnerships,” Vinize demonstrated not only her exceptional speaking ability but also the kind of informed and empowered youth leadership that we proudly nurture in the Sakya community.

From the classrooms and stages of Sakya to the city-wide arena, you continue to make your alma mater proud. Congratulations, Princess Vinize!

Adding to this achievement, Jae continues to build his presence as a Verified Spotify Artist, with his original songs reaching thousands of listeners and proving that dreams, when matched with passion and perseverance, can resonate far beyond the classroom.

As students of Sakya Senior High School, ABM Strand Class of 2022, the Sabandal twins consistently exemplified diligence, excellence, and perseverance. Today, they continue that legacy by graduating with Latin honors from the Christian Colleges of Southeast Asia, Grace Ann earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management, and Grace Mae earning a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English.
