𝓝𝓸 𝓜𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓣𝓸𝓻𝓷 𝓢𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓼: 𝓜𝓒𝓗𝓢 𝓐𝓵𝓾𝓶𝓷𝓲 𝓑𝓪𝓽𝓬𝓱 2001 𝓓𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓼 additional 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓜𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓪𝓵𝓼 𝓽𝓸 𝓘𝓶𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓢𝓬𝓱𝓸𝓸𝓵 𝓖𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓼, an SPTA initiated Project



“It takes a village to educate a child.”

This well-known saying rang true today, April 14, 2025, as Mintal Comprehensive High School received a generous donation from Alumni Batch 2001 to support the improvement of the school grounds.

Fresh from successfully hosting the 4th MCHS Alumni Homecoming on March 29, 2025, Batch 2001 once again demonstrated their strong ties to their alma mater by donating cement, metal, tire wires, and three full loads of sand and gravel.

The donation was timely and relevant, as the school grounds remain unfinished and in need of more construction materials to complete ongoing improvements.

The initiative was birthed by the vision of School Principal Ma’am Heidie Forsuelo, who recognized the need to create safer, more accessible spaces and more learner-friendly environment.

Moved by this goal, Alumni Batch 2001 voluntarily took the initiative to support the project, demonstrating their continued love, gratitude and commitment to their alma mater that helped shaped their lives.

The school expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Alumni Batch 2001 for their generousity. More than a gesture of giving back, their support marks a meaningful step toward creating a safer and more conducive learning environment where students can walk, practice, and train with ease and comfort.

This act of giving reflects the strong spirit of community and the lasting connection between the school and its graduates. Mintal Comprehensive High School continues to move forward with hope knowing it is backed by dedicated stakeholders, its partners, who share purpose and mission to uplift quality education. By investing in the school grounds, the alumni are investing in the learners—the hope of our future.

𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 4𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙡𝙪𝙢𝙣𝙞 𝙃𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜: 𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙠, 𝙈𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙

The Mintal Comprehensive High School (MCHS) 4th Alumni Homecoming on March 29, 2025 was a celebration filled with laughter, nostalgia, and rekindling old friendships. From the moment alumni and guests arrived in the opening program led by the Ministerium Et Excellentiam Chorale and the Hinode - Minzoku Dance Troupe, excitement was felt.

The school principal, Heidie L. Forsuelo, delivered an inspiring speech, "Mintal Comprehensive High School has been more than just a place of learning, it is where friendships are formed, lessons are learned, and dreams begin,” encapsulating the impact MCHS has on its students.

An intermission showcased the talent of MCHS students, with the Senior High School dancers and the MCHS Harmonic Drum and Bell Corps.

Dinner was a moment of unity, as everyone gathered to give thanks before indulging in the food. After dinner, the event transitioned into a lively photo opportunity. This was followed by the intermission performances from the alumni, proving that they still have the talent from their high school days.

The Batch 2001 handed the Key of Responsibility to Batch 2002, a gesture that symbolized not only a responsibility but also an opportunity.

The energy was bumped even higher as the party began. For a moment, everyone forgot about adulthood and simply lived in the rhythm of the music, embracing the youthful spirit that MCHS had instilled in them.

A short video presentation accompanied by a live band was played to look back on the memories each batch has made throughout the years.

As the celebration drew to a close, BJMP Major Jerry Grace Danao delivered heartfelt closing remarks, encapsulating the essence of the event. "Looking back, I am reminded of the lessons we learned. Our teachers did not just impart knowledge; they instilled values that guided us through our professional and personal lives. Our friendships here have stood the test of time." Her words resonated deeply, leaving everyone reflecting on the bonds that remained unbroken despite the years apart.

With final goodbyes and promises to reunite again, the alumni left with hearts full of gratitude, memories rekindled, and a renewed appreciation for the place that had shaped them. The MCHS 4th Alumni Homecoming was more than just a gathering, it was a celebration of a shared past, a reminder of the journey they had taken, truly looking back whilst moving forward.

With these heartfelt words by BJMP Major. Jerry Grace Danao, the closing remarks brought a sense of nostalgia and gratitude, wrapping up a night filled with memories, laughter, and reconnections.

Excitement filled the venue as alumni eagerly participated in the thrilling game of Pera o Kahon. Befoe this, an elimination round was held to decide who gets a chance to pick. Laughter, cheers, and playful banter echoed as participants tested their luck, making the game a highlight of the evening.

The night came alive as alumni and teachers hit the dance floor for an electrifying dance party. Everyone let loose, reliving their high school days through energetic moves and joyful laughter. It was a night to remember, filled with rhythm, nostalgia, and unbreakable bonds.
