Today, August 10, 2026, marks the Opening of the Pambansang Araw ng mga Katutubo 2026! 🎉🌺

Lourdes Elementary School proudly joins the celebration in honoring and recognizing the rich culture, traditions, knowledge, and heritage of our Indigenous Peoples (IPs).

This year’s celebration highlights the theme:

🤱🏽 “Honoring Indigenous Midwives: Safeguarding Life and Well-Being”

As we officially open this meaningful celebration, we pay tribute to our Indigenous Midwives whose invaluable traditional knowledge, skills, and compassionate service continue to protect and promote the health and well-being of mothers, children, and communities.

May this celebration inspire us to strengthen our appreciation and respect for our Indigenous communities and encourage everyone to help preserve, promote, and pass on their cultural heritage and traditional knowledge to future generations.
