The distribution of photo packages for the month has finally come to its conclusion! The Vinta Office closes its doors in respect of the upcoming finals week of the university and the annual holidays. Therefore, we will NOT be releasing the said packages in the next Saturdays of the month of December 2025.

Grace, confidence, and purpose took center stage during the much-anticipated Mutya ng UM 2025. Candidates from different colleges proudly represented their advocacies and embodied the values of the University of Mindanao through poise, intellect, and heartfelt expression. The evening was filled with inspiring moments as each participant demonstrated that true beauty lies in character, conviction, and the courage to make a difference.

After a night of thought-provoking answers and radiant presence, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳 from the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝘀 – 𝐔𝐌 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 reigned supreme as the event’s highlight. Her winning answer powerfully centered on breaking barriers within the university through cultural sensitivity, inclusivity, and acceptance, promising a reign focused on ensuring every student feels valued, heard, and seen. UM stands stronger through voices like hers.

As we look back on the paths we’ve taken, these moments offer a clear view into the people who helped shape our days—leaders who planned, created, and guided with quiet consistency. Whether captured in motion or held still, their efforts stay with us, unchanged and steady, like memories preserved behind glass.

Taken throughout the academic year 2024–2025, these photographs form part of Vinta 2025: Holoclass—a collection that highlights the layers, reflections, and stories within our university life. Each frame carries a trace of the resolve it took to build spaces, foster connections, and lead with intention.

The Vinta Yearbook is now releasing the secured picture frame slots during the Vinta 2025 Yearbook Orientations. These frames are won via the raffle segments of the said events.

Available packages cover graduating batches from 2020 to 2025, so if you're part of these classes, stop by to pick yours up! Our office will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, starting this 22nd of November 2025. Kindly have your Alumni ID or any valid ID ready to ensure a seamless transaction.

Good news, graduates! Graduation photo packages from previous years—Prestige (2020), Beyond the South (2021), Better Hue (2022), Elegacy (2023), Tales and Trails (2024), and Holoclass (2025)—are now ready for distribution.

To officially resume this November 22 of 2025, the Vinta office at UM Matina Campus will be open every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for package pick-up. This convenient Saturday schedule ensures you can grab your cherished memories from these past years.

Stories of growth and resilience took center stage as Ms. Kyline Alcantara and Ms. Sarah Hilomen-Velasco inspired the UM community during The Queen’s University Talk Segment. Both speakers reminded UMians that becoming one’s best self is a process shaped by effort, patience, and self-belief.

Kyline Alcantara encouraged students to embrace growth without fearing judgment, turning the idea of making things possible into a symbol of courage and perseverance. She emphasized the value of striving for your dreams, practicing self-love, and setting boundaries — key elements in one’s personal and professional growth.

Sarah Hilomen-Velasco highlighted that success comes through patience, persistence, and the right mindset. She reminded students that life after graduation isn’t about instant results but about staying focused and resilient. Every obstacle and progress contributes to forming a meaningful future.

Smiles and laughter filled the air during the much-anticipated lighting ceremony of the Christmas Lights within the university. Faculty, staff, and students gathered together to witness the dazzling annual tradition—the lighting of Paskong UMiano 2025!

The event radiated the true spirit of Christmas—a season of joy, togetherness, and giving. As the lights shimmered across the campus, they reminded everyone of hope, warmth, and the shared bond that unites the UMian community in celebration and gratitude.

The University of Mindanao continues to shine as the 𝟕𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 and 𝟕𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 unfold in full swing on 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. The stage belonged to the confident and charismatic men of UM during 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, where talent, wit, and leadership took center stage.

The night showcased not just competition, but the unity and talent of UM’s finest gentlemen—each one reflecting the heart and pride of their respective colleges. When the lights dimmed and the applause roared, one Ginoo emerged to wear the crown— 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐝 from the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, embodying the confidence, talent, and excellence of a true UM Ginoo.

With every cheer and crown, VINTA keeps the spirit of UM alive, one story at a time. The excitement and pride of the Intramurals are never forgotten.
