Following the recent advisory from DepEd Davao City, face-to-face classes at all levels are suspended tomorrow, October 13, 2025.

✅ Classes will shift to a blended learning modality.
✅ Teachers will guide and monitor learning activities online or through other learning platforms.
✅ Regular face-to-face classes will resume on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

This measure ensures everyone’s safety as school buildings continue to be inspected following the recent earthquake. Let us all stay alert and prioritize safety at all times.

Davao City Earthquake Update
As of 9:00 PM, October 10, 2025

To give way to the ongoing structural assessment of infrastructures and facilities, CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS, both public and private educational institutions in Davao City, are hereby SUSPENDED UNTIL MONDAY, October 13, 2025.

The City Engineer’s Office, in coordination with the Department of Education – Davao City, will continue to inspect and assess all public schools across the city over the weekend to ensure the safety of learners.

Meanwhile, the Office of the City Building Official (OCBO), in coordination with the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), is currently conducting rapid structural assessments. The OCBO is prioritizing structures that were previously flagged for issues related to structural safety. OCBO urges all building owners to prioritize occupants’ safety, promptly carry out thorough structural evaluations of their facilities, and report any major defects discovered during or after the earthquake, to the appropriate authorities.

A great day to start the week as our Public Schools District Supervisor, Rolando R. Capul, MA, JD, visited Dalagdag National High School yesterday—September 22, 2025—during the weekly flag-raising ceremony.

Our guest's presence brought joy and enlightenment as he congratulated DNHS's pride—the athletes of Sepak Takraw and Billiards—for winning and successfully securing their spot as DCAA qualifiers.

In addition, Sir Capul left a note, "Bahalag dili ka sikat sa mata sa uban, basta dapat sikat ka sa mata sa Ginoo," encouraging everyone to not live in earthly fame but rather live in praising God.

On August 8, 2025, the Dalagdag National High School marked its culmination of intramurals with a nerve-wracking finale games of Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Takraw, and Chess, in which every team showed passion and commitment to winning the game. The culmination got more exciting because each team chose a muse to represent their colors.

Throughout the celebration, the Yellow Falcons stole the spotlight as they were crowned as the overall champion.🏆🎗️

In conclusion, intramurals don't just mean about winning a game or representing your team— it's also about having the passion, dedication, and commitment in playing your sports, the experiences you have, the bonds you've shared, and the respect you've gained.✨🤝🏃
