Fifty years ago, a vision was ignited—a vision built on faith, service, and the hope of creating healthier communities and better lives.

Today, as Davao Medical School Foundation celebrates its 50th Founding Anniversary, we look back with gratitude to the founders who dared to begin, the generations who carried their vision forward, and the countless lives touched along the way.

Their legacy lives on in the FIRE that continues to define who we are—burning in every learner, educator, healthcare professional, alumnus, partner, and community we serve.

As we honor the journey of the past 50 years, we also look ahead with hope. May the flame entrusted to us continue to burn brightly, passed from one generation to the next—guiding DMSFI toward another fifty years of healing, learning, service, and transformation.

We honor the legacy. We carry the FIRE. We pass it on.

Here’s a glimpse of a celebration fifty years in the making.
