As part of their Vietnam Immersion Tour, our ICHEF students had the opportunity to experience firsthand the standards and operations of leading hospitality establishments through an industry immersion at Ariyana Convention Centre and Furama Resort Danang.

One of the highlights of our Vietnam Immersion Tour was participating in a hands-on cooking class, where ICHEF students learned the techniques, ingredients, and traditions behind authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

From preparing local dishes to understanding the stories and culture behind every recipe, the experience provided valuable insights into Vietnam’s rich culinary heritage.

Day 2: Culture, Connection, and Discovery

Our second day in Vietnam was filled with meaningful experiences as ICHEF students engaged in a cultural exchange with Vietnamese students, sharing traditions, perspectives, and building friendships that transcend borders.

The learning journey continued with a visit to the Da Nang Museum, where students gained deeper insights into Vietnam’s rich history and heritage. They then enjoyed the unique experience of riding the famous coconut boats, immersing themselves in the local way of life and tourism culture.

The day concluded in the enchanting Hoi An Ancient Town, where centuries-old architecture, vibrant lanterns, and timeless charm brought history to life.

From cultural exchange to historical exploration, Day 2 reminded us that the best lessons are often found beyond the classroom.

What a way to begin our immersion journey! Our ICHEF students spent their first day exploring some of Da Nang’s most iconic attractions, from the majestic Dragon Bridge and the romantic Love Bridge to the serene Linh Ung Pagoda overlooking the sea.

The adventure continued at Son Tra Marina, where stunning coastal views provided the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories, before ending the day with a delicious seafood dinner at Nam Chau Seafood Restaurant.

Beyond sightseeing, every destination offered valuable insights into Vietnam’s culture, tourism, hospitality, and way of life. Learning truly comes alive when the world becomes your classroom.
