MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGINDO || REMEMBERING POPE FRANCIS

Today, April 21, we pause in prayerful remembrance on the first death anniversary of Pope Francis, a shepherd whose life radiated the mercy, compassion, and tenderness of Christ.

The community of Fr. Justin Russolillo School of Davao gratefully recalls a holy man who, as the Vicar of Christ, tirelessly called the world to humility, service, and love for the poor. His witness reminded us that true greatness is found in kindness, that the Church must be a home for all, and that mercy is at the very heart of the Gospel.

May his legacy continue to inspire our students, faculty, and families to walk in faith, to serve with joy, and to become instruments of God’s compassion in the world.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
