The school community of San Isidro Elementary School actively participated in the First Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) today at 3:30 in the afternoon, with after-session learners, teaching, and non-teaching personnel joining the activity to strengthen earthquake preparedness.
Upon hearing the alarm, learners and school personnel immediately performed the duck, cover, and hold procedure before proceeding in an orderly manner to the designated evacuation areas. Teachers closely guided the learners, assisted ensuring safety and proper coordination during the drill.
The activity was spearheaded by the schoolโs DRRM Coordinator, Elthon R. Padayogdog, who facilitated the implementation of the drill and monitored the proper ex*****on of safety protocols among learners and personnel.
In her message, School Principal Corazon G. Caballes emphasized the importance of preparedness, reminding everyone that regular earthquake drills help the school community respond effectively and stay safe during real emergencies.
Through this activity, San Isidro Elementary School reaffirmed its commitment to promoting disaster awareness and ensuring the safety and readiness of its learners and personnel.

Davao City-San Isidro Elementary Schoolโs Volleyball-Boys team transformed early victories into a remarkable regional journey, beginning with their Line Meet championship on August 8, 2025 at Sto. Niรฑo Gymnasium, Brgy. Buhangin. The team dominated both elimination and final rounds to secure a District Meet berth.
Building on their momentum, San Isidro claimed another title at the District Meet on August 22โ23, 2025 at Waan Elementary School Gymnasium, winning in straight sets. Their success reflected strong teamwork, disciplined training under coach Ms. Lyca B. Madanlo, and the full support of school head Corazon G. Caballes.
Although the team fell short of the championship at the Unit Meet on September 19โ21, 2025 at Jose P. Rizal Elementary School Gymnasium, two playersโJake C. Perdido and Jhaice Dexter S. Taytayanโearned selection to represent the unit in higher-level competition.
The players advanced to the Davao City Athletic Association (DCAA) tournament on November 15โ19, 2025 at Davao City National High School Gymnasium, where the team captured the championship title. Taytayan stood out and received the โBest Setterโ award for his consistent and strategic playmaking.
Now, as the Davao Regional Athletic Association (DAVRAA) tournament concludes, Taytayan has been officially recognized as the Quarterfinal Most Valuable Player after delivering an outstanding performance against Davao del Norte, tallying 20 excellent sets, two attacks, two blocks, and five aces.
From the Line Meet courts to the DAVRAA stage, Taytayanโs journey highlights San Isidro Elementary Schoolโs commitment to excellence in sports and serves as an inspiration to young athletes across the region.

Pakig-Ambit 2026: A Collective Journey Toward Quality Education at SIES
San Isidro Elementary School successfully conducted Pakig-Ambit 2026, an initiative of the Department of EducationโDavao City, on January 16, 2026. The activity highlighted the schoolโs strong commitment to continuous improvement and quality education through collaboration and shared accountability. It served as a meaningful venue for reflection, assessment, and strengthening school practices aligned with DepEdโs educational goals.
The presence of Pakig-Ambit Evaluators Mack Arthur C. Gamayot, PhD , Educational Program Specialist and Jean Fe A. Colango, EdD, Public Schools District Supervisor greatly contributed to the success of the event. They assessed and monitored school initiatives while providing guidance focused on building capacity, effective implementation, and tasking to further improve educational delivery.
A key highlight of the activity was the Classroom Demonstration Teaching conducted by Leah S. Amarillo, T2, Grade 6 Mathematics teacher. She excellently delivered the lesson, demonstrating effective classroom management, mastery of subject matter, and engaging instructional strategies. Her performance reflected best practices in teaching and served as an inspiration to fellow educators.

Honoring 43 Years of Learning and Community
On December 5, 2025, San Isidro Elementary School celebrated its 43rd Founding Anniversary with a meaningful thanksgiving event. The day began with a Holy Mass where students, teachers, parents, and staff gathered to give thanks for the schoolโs blessings, achievements, and years of service to the community. It was a peaceful and reflective start to the celebration.
After the Mass, the program officially opened with messages from school officials and teachers. They shared the schoolโs history, its progress through the years, and the continued support of the community that helped shape its success. Their short but heartfelt speeches reminded everyone of the schoolโs mission and the value of teamwork and dedication.
The highlight of the day was the field demonstration. Students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 presented lively and colorful dance performances that showed their talent, effort, and school spirit. Each performance was enjoyed by parents and guests, filling the school grounds with excitement, music, and applause.
The celebration concluded with a joyful atmosphere as the whole school community came together to honor its 43 years of growth and achievement. It was a memorable day marked by gratitude, unity, and happiness, reflecting the strong bond that San Isidro Elementary School continues to build with its learners and families.
