Davao City-San Isidro Elementary Schoolโ€™s Volleyball-Boys team transformed early victories into a remarkable regional journey, beginning with their Line Meet championship on August 8, 2025 at Sto. Niรฑo Gymnasium, Brgy. Buhangin. The team dominated both elimination and final rounds to secure a District Meet berth.

Building on their momentum, San Isidro claimed another title at the District Meet on August 22โ€“23, 2025 at Waan Elementary School Gymnasium, winning in straight sets. Their success reflected strong teamwork, disciplined training under coach Ms. Lyca B. Madanlo, and the full support of school head Corazon G. Caballes.

Although the team fell short of the championship at the Unit Meet on September 19โ€“21, 2025 at Jose P. Rizal Elementary School Gymnasium, two playersโ€”Jake C. Perdido and Jhaice Dexter S. Taytayanโ€”earned selection to represent the unit in higher-level competition.

The players advanced to the Davao City Athletic Association (DCAA) tournament on November 15โ€“19, 2025 at Davao City National High School Gymnasium, where the team captured the championship title. Taytayan stood out and received the โ€œBest Setterโ€ award for his consistent and strategic playmaking.

Now, as the Davao Regional Athletic Association (DAVRAA) tournament concludes, Taytayan has been officially recognized as the Quarterfinal Most Valuable Player after delivering an outstanding performance against Davao del Norte, tallying 20 excellent sets, two attacks, two blocks, and five aces.

From the Line Meet courts to the DAVRAA stage, Taytayanโ€™s journey highlights San Isidro Elementary Schoolโ€™s commitment to excellence in sports and serves as an inspiration to young athletes across the region.
