There is no such person as a perfect parent but we can always do better. This post is worth sharing on how we can be better in keeping our kids away from harm and how teachers can work together with parents in redirecting seemingly confused kids to where they belong - their home. π
Just as what Daughtry's song, Home tells us...
I'm coming home
Back to the place where I belong
Where love has always been enough for me.

THE REAL DEAL ABOUT BLUE LIGHT AND YOUR EYES π
π The amount of blue light from screens is not significant to cause eye disease.
π Digital eye strain is caused by how we use our devices and not by blue light.
π Sleep can be improved by decreasing screen time at night without the need for special eyeglasses.
π Anti-Blue light glasses have not been proven to have an effect on eye health.

This pandemic may have put us on a temporary halt to ensure everything is in place - safety, food, finances, physical and mental health, etc. As life must go on, we continue to face the challenges it brings to us, both parents and teachers, to ensure not just continuity but quality education for our children.
As stewards of the future generation, we, parents and teachers, take the responsibility to train, guide and hone them. Despite difficulties and temporary failures, never cease to learn as well. As long as we live, we can start all over again and hopefully smarter with lessons learned.
Sharing this video about 'Grit' and 'Growth Mindset'. Something that applies to all learners - students, teachers, and parents.
P.S.
Feel free to add other parents & teachers in our page. Stay healthy and safe!
