DAVAO REGION; HIGHEST IN MINDANAO, 2ND IN THE PHILIPPINES IN ENGLISH PROFICIENCY INDEX 2023

Davao Region has the highest English Proficiency Index in Mindanao and second in the Philippines.

Kini subay sa gipagula nga report sa think tank Education First English Proficiency Index (EF EPI) 2023. Ang Davao Region adunay very high proficiency score nga 606, nga misunod lamang sa Cordillera Administrative Region with the score 616. Kini usab ang pinakataas sa mga rehiyon sa Mindanao.

Samtang sa mga syudad sa nasud, Rank 3 ang Davao City nga adunay very high proficiency score na 609, diin nanguna ang Baguio City (618) ug ang Dumaguete (617). Kini pud ang pinakataas sa mga syudad sa Mindanao.

Sa Global Rankings, anaa ang Pilipinas sa ika-20th out of 113 countries sa high levels of English Proficiency nga mas misaka kompara sa tuig 2022. Rank 2 kini sa Asia human sa Singapore.

Bahin niini, mapasigarbohon usab nga gipaambit sa Department of Education (DepEd XI) ang nasakmit nga achievement sa nakuhang taas nga English Proficiency sa rehiyon.

Ang English Proficiency mao ang sukatan sa kahanas o ang abilidad pag-abot sa English language related skills.
