On March 31, 2026, GSIS Heights National High School proudly celebrated its 7th Recognition Day and Moving-Up Ceremony with the theme: *“Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character.”

We extend our warmest gratitude to our esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Roland Suico, for delivering a truly inspiring and thought-provoking message that challenged our learners to strive for competence. Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Ma’am Tess Carbon, School Head of Soledad Duterte National High School, for gracing this momentous occasion with her presence.

To our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, valued stakeholders, and, most especially, to our learners—congratulations! This school year has been a journey filled with meaningful experiences, growth, and valuable lessons.

Part II: Inauguration of School’s Signage

GSIS Heights National High School marked a momentous milestone as it celebrated its First-ever Founding Anniversary Celebration — a historic commemoration of nine years of growth, dedication, and academic progress.
The event, held in honor of the school's 9th Founding Anniversary, brought together students, faculty, staff, parents, and community stakeholders in a joyful and meaningful gathering that reflected on how far the institution has come since its establishment.

Central to the celebration was the Inauguration of the School Signage — a long-awaited and symbolic moment that marked not just a physical addition to the school grounds, but a powerful declaration of identity and permanence.

The unveiling stood as a proud testament to the school's place in the community, serving as a beacon of belonging for every student who walks through its gates.

A school signage is far more than a nameplate — it is the face of an institution, the first impression it makes on visitors, parents, and the wider public. It instills a sense of pride and ownership among students and staff, and reinforces the school's official identity and legitimacy.

As GSIS Heights National High School looks ahead, this founding anniversary and the inauguration of its signage serve as a renewed commitment to strengthening its foundations and advancing steadily toward excellence in the years to come.

With hearts full of gratitude and spirits soaring with pride, GSIS Heights National High School joyfully marks a truly momentous milestone — its First-ever Founding Anniversary Celebration, commemorating 9 remarkable years of shaping young minds, building character, and advancing excellence in the community on the 13th of March 2026 at GSIS Heights National High School gym.

This momentous celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of our Cluster 2 Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Fortunato B. Sagayno, whose unwavering guidance and visionary leadership continue to inspire our school's pursuit of greatness. We were also deeply honored to welcome back our beloved former school principals — Dr. Irene Gundaya, Ma'am Lorna Castañares, Dr. Jose Ramil D**a and Engr. Redirick M. Elisterio — the pillars who laid the very foundations upon which GSIS Heights NHS proudly stands today. Your legacy lives on in every hallway, every classroom, and every graduate.

The occasion was further made meaningful by the presence of our valued external stakeholders from Davao Doctors College of Davao and Hon. Kagawad Lorence Cañada, along with our dedicated internal stakeholders and the former and current officers of our School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA). Your continued support and partnership fuel everything we do.

As we celebrate, we look back with deep admiration and gratitude on our humble beginnings as the DRANHS – GSIS Annex — a small but determined start that dared to dream big. We stand tall and proud as a fully independent, stand-alone institution, carrying our own identity under School ID 305667 — a transformation nine years in the making, built on sacrifice, perseverance, and a shared vision for a brighter future.

To every esteemed guest, partner, stakeholder, parent, alumni, and member of the GSIS Heights family who has walked alongside us through every milestone, every challenge, and every triumph — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This journey is yours as much as it is ours.
