Showcasing exceptional skill and determination, she proudly raised our school's banner at Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School in Matina, Davao City, competing from September 9-13 and 19, 2026.

The Girl Scouts of Ampon National High School continue to demonstrate their remarkable skills, leadership, and spirit of camaraderie in a series of engaging outdoor events this September.

The girls recently brought immense pride to the school community during the 4th Council Gathering of Girl Leaders, held last September 5, 2026, at Camp Corazon Heights, Toril, Davao City. Embracing the theme "Lead On: Girl Carrying Our Legacy, Leading the Future," the Ampon NHS scouts proudly secured the 3rd Place award in the Outdoor Cooking (Picadillo) competition. This wonderful achievement was fueled by the tireless efforts and steadfast mentorship of School Titas Jan Joyce R. Canezo and Regine C. Sampolio, who expertly prepared and guided the participants for the rally. The school also extends its heartfelt appreciation to Jenny Ann S. Balderas, who graciously and watchfully served as the girls' chaperon throughout the spirited event.

Riding on the momentum of this success, the school's dedicated GSP troop then geared up for an even bigger adventure at the Girl Scouts of the Philippines 36th Regional Camp. Scheduled from September 10 to 13, 2026, at the Energy Park in Tagum City, this gathering centers around the inspiring theme "RISE: Resilience Ignited with Service and Empowerment". Through this multi-day regional event, the girls are given meaningful opportunities to develop leadership and strengthen lifelong friendships through engaging outdoor and educational activities.

Last Thursday, September 10, 2026, Ampon National High School came alive with a beautiful spirit of togetherness as the community marked the close of another enriching term block. Families, students, and teachers gathered as one, beginning the day with a Thanksgiving Holy Mass. It was a heartfelt morning of reflection, allowing attendees to pause and offer their deepest gratitude for the blessings of safety, shared learning, and the incredible resilience the students showed throughout the term. Sharing this spiritual milestone side-by-side set a wonderful tone of warmth and unity for the rest of the day's events.

With hearts full of gratitude, the morning gracefully transitioned into the PTA General Assembly and the much-anticipated releasing of report cards. Rather than just a formal meeting, it felt like a true celebration of the students' hard work and a chance to strengthen the village that supports them. Teachers and parents shared proud smiles and meaningful conversations about each child's unique journey, highlighting a shared dedication to the learners' holistic growth. As families headed home with their children's achievements in hand, it was a warm reminder that Ampon National High School's greatest strength lies in the beautiful, unwavering partnership between its educators and parents.

𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐅𝐔𝐋 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋-𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍-𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 (𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐓)

Ampon National High School has successfully concluded its two-day School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) titled “Strengthening Teachers’ Professional Competencies for Effective Program Implementation, Assessment, and Learner Support,” held from September 10 to 11, 2026. Anchored on the principle that continuous professional growth is essential for delivering quality education and attaining meaningful learning outcomes, this capacity-building initiative aimed to equip teachers with updated knowledge, practical skills, and clear policy guidelines necessary to enhance instructional delivery and learner support.

Throughout the interactive sessions, all 21 teaching personnel actively engaged in collaborative workshops and discussions covering the Performance Management and Evaluation System (PMES), Junior and Senior High School Awards and Recognition guidelines, classroom-based Action Research, and the ARAL Math Program. Participants also engaged in collaborative planning for Science Month activities, examined the strengthened SHS grading system, prepared implementation plans for the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP), and explored evidence-based pedagogy to contextualize classroom instruction.

This successful undertaking highlights Ampon National High School’s unwavering commitment to providing quality education by continually strengthening teacher competence, upgrading assessment systems, and promoting learner well-being. Heartfelt congratulations are extended to all participating teachers, resource speakers, school administrators, and organizing committees whose collaboration and dedication made this two-day activity a resounding success!
