The External Relations and Internationalization Office (ERIO) successfully conducted a productive coordination meeting with the officers and advisers of the ACD Alumni Association to strengthen collaboration and discuss strategic initiatives for alumni engagement and institutional development.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Susan A. Rubiato, FPAFP, MPH, Alumni President; Ma'am Fe Palma, Alumni Adviser; Elsa D. Villanueva, PhD, Head of Operations and Planning; and Ma'am Rochelle Sta. Ana, Alumni Treasurer.

The discussion focused on reinforcing partnerships between ERIO and the Alumni Association, aligning future programs and activities, and identifying collaborative opportunities that will further strengthen alumni participation and support for the School’s vision and mission.

ERIO remains committed to fostering meaningful relationships with its alumni, recognizing their invaluable role as partners in advancing academic excellence, community engagement, and institutional growth.

Steering Towards Global Horizons: ACD ERIO Joins Project PIVOT!

Assumption College of Davao (ACD) continues to strengthen its commitment to global engagement by participating in initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for students and the entire academic community.

The External Relations and Internationalization Office (ERIO) Officer recently participated in the 7th session of Project PIVOT (Partnerships for International Visibility and Organizational Transformation), organized by the Commission on Higher Education – International Affairs Service (CHED-IAS).

A key highlight of the session was the introduction of a strategic collaboration with Xinwei AI, the educational technology arm of Geely Holding Group. The initiative aims to connect Filipino student innovators with international startup ecosystems, providing greater access to mentorship, industry partnerships, and global opportunities.

What this means for the ACD community:
1. Expanding Global Opportunities
Student entrepreneurs can look forward to stronger connections with international startup networks, potential investors, industry experts, and global markets.

2. Advancing AI-Enhanced Learning
The session showcased innovative AI-powered educational tools and intelligent learning platforms that can help develop future-ready skills and enrich student learning experiences.

Beyond establishing connections, these collaborations are designed to create long-term opportunities that strengthen ACD's international presence and support the school's mission of academic excellence and innovation.

Assumption College of Davao, through our External Relations and Internationalization Office (ERIO) led by Mr. Nino C. Ojanola Niño Ojanola, LPT, MAEd-LT, actively participated in the International Relations Officers Network (IRON XI) 3rd Quarter Meeting held last July 10, 2026, at the Ateneo de Davao University.

As part of our commitment to broadening horizons for our academic community, ACD joined fellow higher education institutions across Region XI and the CHED RO XI Focal Person for Internationalization to map out transformative global initiatives.
