Hindi natin laging makokontrol ang lahat ng nakikita ng mga bata online. 👀
Sa social media, online games, at iba’t ibang platforms, posible silang makakita ng content na violent, disturbing, o hindi angkop sa kanilang edad.
Kaya mahalagang maging present tayo—not to monitor every move, but to listen, guide, and help them understand what they encounter online.
Talk to them about the apps they use. Explore parental controls and content restrictions. Most importantly, create a safe space where they know they can come to you when something online makes them uncomfortable.
Because keeping children safe online isn’t only about limiting what they see. It’s also about teaching them what to do when they encounter something they shouldn’t.
Stay involved, listen, and guide.

Consent lang ba ang tanging basehan para mag-proseso ng personal information?
Ang aking kasagutan ay… HINDI PO ATEEE!
Dapat malinaw kung kailan lang pwede mag-process ng data at kung ano ang legal basis bago ito gawin, lalo na kung sensitive personal information ang hawak, dahil mas mahigpit ang proteksyon dito.
Alamin ang mga basis ng personal information processing ayon sa Data Privacy Act of 2012.

Habang nagiging bahagi na rin ng araw-araw na buhay nina Lola at Lolo ang digital world, tayo naman ang gumabay sakanila ngayon.
Kaya kapag may kahina-hinalang message, link ng online seller, o humihingi ng sensitive information, huwag mag-atubiling magsabi:
“Lola, huwag mo po i-click.”
“Lolo, huwag nating ibigay ang OTP.”
“Check muna natin kung legit.”
“Lolo at Lola, huwag basta mag-send ng ID o personal information sa mga nakaka-chat na seller online.”
Hindi ito tungkol sa kung gaano ka ka-tech savvy. Minsan, sapat nang magtanong, mag-check, at mag-ingat.
Dahil ang privacy is for every generation. 🔐
Sabay-sabay nating gawing mas ligtas ang digital world, para sa atin, para kina Lola at Lolo, at para sa bawat henerasyon.

What if the online lending app doesn't take back my consent? 🤔📱
Do you know that just because you took out a loan online, it doesn't mean the lending app will forever hold all your personal information?
Your personal data should still be processed according to the principles and requirements of the Data Privacy Act.
There are times when you have the right to object, request access, correction, or deletion, subject to the limitations provided by law.
And if you feel that your personal data is being misused or your privacy rights are not respected, you have the right to take action.
