CLASS AND WORK SUSPENSION ADVISORY

In compliance with the announcement of the City Government of Davao, face-to-face classes and school activities in all levels are suspended today, Tuesday, May 19, 2026, due to flooding incidents caused by heavy rainfall brought by the Easterlies and ITCZ.

This suspension is intended to give way to clearing operations and to ensure the safety and welfare of students, personnel, and affected communities.

Hospital operations shall remain in service.

Everyone is advised to stay safe, avoid flooded areas, and monitor official announcements for further updates.

ANNOUNCEMENT || In view of the announced nationwide transport strike on April 15-17, 2026, please be guided by the following directives:

1. Shift to Online Classes
• All levels across all academic programs will shift to synchronous online classes on April 15, 2026.

2. Classes on April 16-17, 2026
• The decision to continue online classes or revert to face-to-face classes on April 16 and 17 will depend on further announcements.
• Students are advised not to travel back to their provinces until further notice.

3. Examinations
• All examinations scheduled on April 15, 2026 will be rescheduled to Saturday, April 18, 2026 or as decided by the Deans.
• Examinations scheduled on April 16 and 17, 2026 will be announced together with the decision regarding class modality for those dates.

All students and faculty are advised to remain prepared and regularly monitor announcements from your respective Deans and official school channels.

EDIT FOR SUSPENSION OF SCHOOL OFFICE TRANSACTIONS:

Please be informed that, pursuant to the advisory issued by the City Government of Davao, classes in all levels are suspended today, February 20, 2026, due to inclement weather.

As advised by the Dean of Colleges, all scheduled face-to-face classes shall shift to online modality (synchronous or asynchronous) effective immediately.

All concerned are requested to coordinate with their respective deans and course coordinators for proper guidance and instructions.

ADDITIONALLY, all employees, except hospital personnel, are directed to work from home today, February 20, 2026, due to inclement weather. However, to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of healthcare services, HOSPITAL OPERATIONS shall continue on a skeletal system.

Department heads will provide guidance on any urgent matters or updates.
