Suot ang ating pambansang kasuotan at bitbit ang alab sa puso, ang mga g**o ng Baracayo Integrated School ay nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026.Sa ilalim ng liderato at gabay ng ating masipag na Pinuno ng paaralan, Gng. Marivic Aguilar Obatonon patuloy na itinataas ng BIS ang antas ng edukasyon. Sa temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” pinatutunayan ng ating paaralan na ang kulturang Pilipino at makabagong teknolohiya ay magkaagapay sa paghubog ng mga mag-aaral sa makabagong panahon.

SGC 2026: New Leaders, Unified Vision, Transformed Lives!
On July 31, 2026, Baracayo Integrated School (BIS) held its 1st School Governance Council (SGC) meeting for School Year 2026–2027 to plan for the upcoming school improvement academic year. The meeting was presided over by the newly designated Co-Chairperson, Geraldine R. Siarot (in lieu of Maricel V. Cabillanes), alongside newly elected Chairperson Teddy Verano (in lieu of Marcelo T. Lorete) and SGC Secretary Divine Grace G. Arobo (in lieu of Angel C. Mapanao). Guided by School Principal Marivic Aguilar Obatonon and attended by Barangay Daliaon Plantation Education Chairperson Kagawad Alberto Sitoy II, the council gathered as school partners and the local community under the banner, “BIS Promoting Excellence, Transforming Lives.”During the session, Co-Chairperson Geraldine Siarot successfully led the review and discussion of three major agenda items. The meeting kicked off with the approval of Resolution No. 0001, Series of 2026, and continued with updates to the Revised School Handbook. Concluding the session was the presentation of the School Report Card, which was delivered by outgoing co-chairperson Maricel V. Cabillanes. With a fresh leadership team and strong barangay backing, the SGC is fully prepared to collaborate for a progressive and successful school year.

Baracayo Integrated School is now equipped with a handheld metal detector for strict bag inspections upon campus entry, made possible through the generous support and funding of our School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA)! Securing the safety of our learners remains our highest priority as we continuously reinforce a safe and protected learning environment under the guidance of our School Head, Ma'am Marivic Aguilar Obatonon. By combining this enhanced gate screening protocol by our school guard with our active, round-the-clock CCTV monitoring network, we ensure our campus remains a secure zone. School Paper Advisers Pamela R. Getigan and Mardel M. Literal of Baracayo Integrated School actively participated in the Campus Journalism Academy Year 10 held on July 25–26, 2026, at Davao Central College, Toril, Davao City. Their participation was made possible through the financial and educational support of their School Head, Ma’am Marivic A. Obatonon, who continues to invest in their personal and professional development. The two-day training enhanced their knowledge and skills in various fields of journalism, which they can share with and impart to their campus journalists, further strengthening Baracayo Integrated School’s commitment to developing responsible, skilled, and competitive young writers.
